the Asus 15.6" Intel Celeron with 4 GB memory and 500 GB hard drive is good price and easy to set up for using with the windows 8.1. This Asus laptop very easy for student to use. perfect for business or home user. good sound and good for both parent and kids play game together. Retire people can use for internet to shop at home.

After 2 weeks I saw a dead pixel or seems like a tiny star took it back to bestbuy ... Used to be great customer service, these days they don't bother and care said I don't have their geek service can't do anything then spoke to manager he ran YouTube video told me it will fix it .... I didn't see the Pixal then but when I get home I saw the Pixal again bestbuy said they can't do anything or if their is more Pixal affecting the screen then they can send it back to company so I am not sure what to do .... But otherwise the laptop is running ok ..... So if u get this get the warranty within 2 weeks

If all you are looking to do with a computer is surf the internet, browse emails, and possible use the Office services. This is a great computer for you. My only complaint is that is not as user friendly for those that know very little about computers. Thus the 4 star. But it's a great running computer very responsive,

I was on the budget so I picked a cheaper laptop. When I opened the box I was pleasantly surprised. Very nice machine. Great build. Works great. No issues. Very happy with the purchase.

Laptop works well for basic functions. The screen is large enough for casual viewing of multimedia. Would recommend to anybody looking for an inexpensive laptop for average use. By average I mean Web browsing, multimedia, emails and so on. Asus makes quality products and even their low end products are trustworthy.

Perfect for the price. Windows 8 is snappy. Screen and keyboard are good. Battery life is OK. Weight isn't bad. It would be nice if they got rid of the DVD drive, reduced the size and weight and passed on the price savings. No touch screen. But I'm not convinced that would be all that useful in a laptop format.

Laptop is in general ok, I can't complain since the price is fair for what the laptop offers. Good screen size, the speed is ok, just what I expected. I can surf the web, play Netflix movies and all basic stuff with no issues. Only wish more USB ports, it has two only. Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase.

Bought this computer for basic home use such as internet, iTunes, email, etc. For the price I am very pleased with my purchase. It was easy to set up and speed is quick. I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a basic computer.

I have been looking for a laptop that has a screen size 15.6", 4GB memory and 500GB hard drive with price tag around $230. There are 4 models: HP, Acer, Toshiba, and Asus that fit for these criterias and price. I picked Asus because it has the dvd/cd drive while other 3 models don't have it

Its a good laptop for the price. Its a basic laptop and it accomplishes what I need it for. I use it for email, banking, shopping and web surfing. The only complaint I have is the touchpad. I can't seem to find the left/right click easily. I bought a wireless mouse and that problem is fixed.

I bought this for my son for his 10th birthday. He says that it is very easy to use and fast.

We were looking for a laptop to run day to day office work. This one has good price with good feature. 4GB Memory and 500GB Hard Drive are definitely a big plus. The computer runs smoothly and we enjoy using it. It does not have DVD Drive which is another plus because it makes this laptop very light to carry around. I recommend this to people who are looking to buy a decent laptop and don't want to break their bank.

It is very easy to use. My son loves it. He downloads apps. He plays gamez and does homework. Great product and the price was perfect.

I bought this for my daughter to do school work and for entertainment. So far it has worked great. She watches DVDs and Netflix quite a bit and it has been rock solid. Should have bought one for myself when they were on sale!! Will give a fifth star in a year if it is still this good.

My computer died and I needed a new one. I grabbed the Asus because of the price and what was included. It is a great deal and would recommend it.
