Great for the high school student or younger. Kind of pushing it with college. It gets pretty slow..

My highschool kid needed a laptop and this one does everything a student in high school needs.

Bought this for my 88 year old mother . She reads emails and plays games, only. She loves it!

Works good! Lightweight and compact. Fits my needs perfectly. Would of gave it 5 starts if it had a CAPS LOCK light of some sort.

Good machine. Does all I need. Was worried about negative comments about Windows 8 but I had no problem adjusting to the system.

This laptop is fast, it has good hard drive space, runs great, totally recommended. Is good for everyday uses like surfing the internet, checking email, etc.

Bought for my granddaughter for Christmas. She popped in a DVD and it wouldn't play. Tried seveal DVD"s. No luck. Called the Geek squad and was told laptops don t play DVD and CD's. He also said they couldn't help me because I hadn't purchased a plan. So I called my local store and they said to bring it in and exchange it. .

This is my 5th or 6th laptop in the last 10 years. This has at least 3x more memory than one I purchased just 5 years ago, and the price is about one quarter of what I spent 5 years ago. I bought this as a christmas present, so I have not even opened the box yet.

Bought this budget laptop for my Dad. Solid performance for the price. Had this since Christmas and no issues to date.

Bought this for my mom for data processing and use of office 365. she loves it. It was ready to go right out-of-the-box.

Windows 8 is not my favorite but the computer is fast and works great.

Purchased this laptop as a promotion gift for my rising 7th grader. He loves it!...says, it's fast and does everything he enjoys such as playing games, watching YouTube and of course, completing the summer reading report.

my daughter spent all her CHRISTmas money on this. The computer worked great, until the power cord went out. 2 weeks of use is all we got. Asus does not stand behind their product! When calling, computer under warranty, I was directed to their accessory site to buy another cord. After so much money spent on computer, you'd think the cord was a part of the package.

The laptop is a bargain for the price, will buy others as the kids grow older. Being in grad school I needed one fast and this one did the job.

Order process was poor but the product is an excellent deal!
