I purchased this laptop for my 11 year-old son. It's great for internet, games and basic usage - just what we wanted. Great pc for the price!

Bought this for my 50+ mom who is going back to school after 30 years. The computer is good for the sub 500 price range. A little slow but you can upgrade the ram so I'm hoping it'll get a little faster after that. Perfect for surfing the web, checking Facebook, and doing school projects. I wouldn't bother spending more unless I was going up to 700 dollar price range. The computer is built solid and feels sturdy. I'd definitely recommend this for teenagers and people who are just looking for basic computer applications.

I've been using my Asus for a little bit of gaming and typical college papers. I'm also using SQL server 2014 for my IT classes. I have very little issues, most of which are very minor. My biggest problem has been my screen cracked, but that was my fault for leaving it in my trunk during cold weather.

I originally bought this online and had it shipped as my nearest store is 50 miles away. It came with a 90 day trial of a security software which the activation code was emailed to me. The computer didn't work, so I drove to the store and it was exchanged for one exactly like it. A few days later, I got and email saying my 90 day security software was cancelled. I spoke with 8 people on the phone from customer service to computer service to technical, etc. No one would re-activate the software. Finally, a supervisor got on the line and said since the 2nd computer actually came from the store, not online, I had to drive back to the store to get software re-activated. To this day, I can't understand this very poor customer service. I won't drive 100 miles round trip to get this done, and likely my 90 days will be up before I get back to the store. Why couldn't they do it on the phone? Very Very Bad Experience!!! They say the call was recorded, I hope someone goes back and listens to it. Over an hour with 8 different people. Peeved!

If you are looking for a laptop primarily for internet access, this is a very good one at a very good price. It is very light and has a good feel. It also has more memory than expected at the price. Only negative is if you type with palms resting on the computer, the cursor has a tendency to jump.

I love my Asus Laptop. I got it as an open item, but bought the Geek Squad protection plan, just in case. So far, I love this laptop. I have used it mainly for school, but have streamed movies and downloaded music too. I love the battery life. It lasts a good while and it only takes a little bit to charge fully. I do not leave it charging over night as I have heard that doing so will kill your battery in the long run. I use Movie Maker on it to edit school videos too. For the price I paid, I am in love with this item!

My very first Asus product and so far I'm very pleased. Got it on sale at a great price!!! Only thing I dislike is there's no way to tell if the ALL CAPS and Num Lock keys are on. Works pretty fast when browsing the web. Got a great feel for it when I went in-store and tried out the display.

Great laptop for me, I watch movies, tv shows, play some games, edit documents, talk on skype and this laptop is all I need. I like that it can be switched to tablet mode, that's interesting. I would appreciate if speakers are little bit louder, but it's all good like this. I'm really happy with this product and I think it's a good price too!

Slightly better than entry-level Windows 10 laptop selling at Bestbuy. Battery last just a little over 3 hours before having to re-charge again on normal usage. The only thing annoying me is bottom opening to replace battery or memory can't be done easily via just a small screw driver.

This is a very economic laptop with a lot of features that make this a good buy. I like the 1TB hard drive, 4GB of ram, DVD drive and 15" screen are some of the things I like. The battery life is good not great and Windows 10 is hard to get used too. The Apps are somewhat lacking as well.

Does what i need surf web wifi. I can walk to the garden and use it . I am going to use it to program Arduino projects (new to it). The speaker is not the best and the keyboard does not light up but for the price ok. Surfed the web for hours. Just dont drop it lol and you will be fine.

I have been searching for a laptop for my girlfriend she doesn't need much considering her old HP laptop was about 8yrs old. She likes to pay her bills online, do word documents, Netflix, music and browse for shopping online. That said this Asus is awesome because it have great processor i3 1TB storage and 4gb of ram which is more the sufficient to have multiple windows open. The graphics are great also has a HdMI perfect for connecting to a flat screen. I would definitely recommend this product

It is an alright laptop. I don't particularly like the feel of the keys but it takes some getting used to. Battery life is fine - fully charged lasts about 7-8 hours. I actually purchased it for my children but my desktop died so I have to use this one until the desktop is fixed.

This computer works fine for my everyday needs, it has the speed and power that I like. As a retired administrator the wordpad meets my document writing needs and I found a good free app to meet my spreadsheet needs. These were my two biggest concerns on getting a new computer.

being a relatively inexpensive computer, it's better than the price suggests. it's not super fast, but fast enough to browse the internet and stream videos. if you are looking for a laptop to do basic tasks, this computer is much more than enough. large screen with nice colors.

Nice looking, fast processor, good size screen, nice pre-loaded apps that can be removed easily if one elects to. McAfee is easily removed. Has DVD/CD player. More than enough memory. Windows 10 is easy to learn and has nice features. Only complaint is that while the keyboard keys are nice; there is too much give in the structure that supports the keyboard and therefore it gives too much and has a flimsy feel to it when typing. Others have mentioned this and now I know what they mean.

I got this after the last laptop I got from Best Buy wasn't working. Set up was easy, it is fast and has a sleek design to it. Only thing I am having trouble with is that the screen automatically dims and then brightens without me touching it even when it is not on standby.

So far the Asus has been working fine. Bought it for the i3 Intel Core processor. The touchpad is a bit too big for this user's preference.
