It came in handy for what we needed. It's a great computer

We got this for our church to do power point presentations for our services. We also are planning on using it to play movies for movie night at our church.

Adjusting to this laptop has not been a pleasure for me.

I need to take classes to learn how to work everything

For the$ it's a great computer , don't like Windows 10

Has basic fratures with DVD, sd port, 3 usb ports.

Displayed stopped working after couple of days. I returned it back to BestBuy

Purchased for web browsing, emailing and some casual gaming. Does all that without any problems. Amazing how thin it is, even though a lower end laptop.

I was told that this computer came with Microsoft office and it did not. I was also told that I would receive a $30.00 gift card to use on future purchases at Best Buy but never received. A bit disappointed about these two points, but overall ok with computer.

We got this laptop for my husband. He is primarily a websurfer, but needs a windows laptop for the ultrasaber he wants. This was a perfect fit for him.

Open box Closes when it feels like it. BAD & dirty

The functionality is fine but the speed is fairly slow. I knew this when purchasing but thought I would just save things to an external drive and that would help with the operating speed. It is fine for family/home use but internet use is a bit dodgey.

I am 67 and not the most computer savvy person. But, my new Asus laptop is soooo user friendly. I love it. That's all I can say, I love it!

This was my first ASUS laptop. I love it. I'm forever searching for more deals like this one.

Does what it's supposed to and then some. Does all the work I need it for and runs multiple applications and pages flawlessly.

Asus is a great company, and make a lot of great gaming pc's, so their budget stuff (for the most part) isn't all that bad. Also ASUS make their own motherboards, gpu's, HDD's, RAM etc. And also manufacture those parts for other companies pc's as well. This is a great deal for the price, the computer runs very smoothly. With another upgrade of 4 gigs of RAM, I'm sure it would run even smoother. But I really don't need it. Plus upgrading (now) is a hassle since you have to dismantle the entire computer just to do it. The build quality it pretty good, although it still has that budget feel. It looks more expensive than it is, and has a very nice silver (macbook) appearance to it. Also I like the top with the circular brushed metal feel/look and the logo. Very appealing. The keyboard is good, not great. A little unresponsive or it takes a little more "push: to get your keystrokes to respond. Not a huge deal, but enough you may notice if you type fast like myself. The screen is nice and bright and the viewing angles are good as well. The I3 processor is really good, especially for only 329$ + tax. Speakers are nice and loud, and also have quite a bit of bass to them, only they are underneath. So depending on how the computer is sitting depends on how loud the sound is. Battery life is ok, around 6 hours or less. The only real problem I have is that the heat sink/exhaust fans are oddly placed in the back of the computer, behind the one giant long hinge. You don't fell much heat escaping, but it's pretty loud. And sometimes idles even louder while doing the smallest of tasks. But oh well. It's still a great deal, and Asus is extremely reliable. So even for some video editing, music, movies etc. This is a great deal. Mainly because of the 5th gen I3, which is a lot more at other stores. Usually 500$ of more in some places. So if your in the market for something cheap/fast with a great processor and overall good build. Get this one. Just don't be thrown off by the noisy hollow keyboard, when you type. It's still great.
