I purchased this laptop on 02/2016 and all of the sudden it stopped working. I will never purchased another Asus computer again.

Purchased this Feb 3 2016, can't download anything from the windows store. This is a horrible laptop. Leaves you frustrated and mad.

Just opened tonight and getting used to Windows 10; laptop hardware seems very responsive so far and great weekend price of $299.99; Amazon has a listing for this same model number and selling for $345.00 plus $8.50 shipping;

After reading all the reviews i was sceptical about the performance, but this seems to be a great laptop for the everyday user. The i3 2.2 Ghx keeps up with all the tasks you can throw at it. I was easily able to upgrade the RAM to 12GB, which has been an incredible improvement. It is lightning fast now. As for the other aspects, the keyboard layout is pretty decent, the screen is really nice, although not 1080P, but enough for an everyday user. Now if you are trying to run programming software , the 2.2GHX might be a little slow for you. All in all, i would recommend to a friend , and for the price you cannot beat it.

This laptop is great even with only 4 gigs of ram im using it to edit and upload youtube videos with no lag or slow connection or anything definetly love the laptop and can't go wrong with the price

got this for $250 on 1 day sale. was good by itself but added an old SSD hard drive and 4 more gbs of ram ($20 on amazon). It is super snappy now. the resolution at 768 is ok but expected for the price. the color screen isnt great but good for the price. they keyboard layout looks like a apple laptop. with a couple upgrades this competes with $500-$1000 laptops.

Bought this for my Mom. She had her doubts because the price was low but now she's good with it after seeing that it works nicely and is pretty fast.

I bought this to use for basic tasks like email, web browsing, and YouTube. It was pretty fast out of the box. I added 4GB of ram to make it 8GB.

The Asus laptop was easy to set up. The performance was good and even better when I added 4 GB more. The screw to the memory expansion panel had a plastic cover making it look like a plug. Overall good laptop for the money.

Amazing after I added 4gig Crucial ram that I took from my old Samsung on which the hard drive died . So , I have i3 5th generation and 1 TB hard drive and 8g ram for 300 $ ! Ain't gonna beat that value . Like the build quality and looks . Easy to start up and set-up . This Asus is super quick . I prefer it to the Dell I recently bought the wife . Granted , I am not a gamer , but this Asus is exceeding all of my expectations thus far . If longevity pans out , it will have been the best of 6 laptops I have owned thus far . Thanks Best Buy .

The laptop perform great with my big data Excel and PowerPoint files, the size of the screen and huge 1 Tb disk plus full keyboard makes it easier to work with and Windows 10 with Cortana just completes it. Great product and better price!

For the price, this laptop is excellent. This laptop is lightweight and very good looking. Battery life watching videos on the internet with screen brightness turned all the way up is around 3 hours. Responsive, relatively fast. Mouse pad is responsive, the keyboard works perfect and has raised keys. Partitioning linux was really simple.

I bought this laptop after having 2 other Asus laptops. Before I took it home, I decided to have more ram installed. I bought the ram that the sales associate told me to get and gave it all to the geek squad to install. 2 days later they called me and said this particular model, it will not recognize any ram installed into the expansion slots and that the factory ram is soldered directly on the motherboard. They tried several different types of ram but the same result. My options are to deal with the installed ram or get a different model with more ram. I guess I will be getting a different model that you can actually add more ram to.

I purchased this to replace an old dead Toshiba. Good value for a budget laptop and does everything that I need. WiFi reception is much better than my Samsung tablet or my old laptop and opens fast when asleep. Overall this is a great deal for everyday tasks.

Purchased on Cyber Monday and think this is an excellent laptop for the price. Very fast for everyday uses as long as you are not running extreme applications. The only items I am not thrilled about is the monitor which is limited in contrast and no high def and the lack of bluetooth but for the price it would not stop me from purchasing again. Also upgraded the laptop memory to 12GB and is even faster. Used the Crucial 8GB CT102464BF160B listed in an earlier review.
