very inexpensive laptop and very sleek for the price.

The versatility of a touch screen and a laptop works very well with the classes that I am taking and good for game play.

Item works great out of the box. No issues. Some of the typical adware/trialware stuff to remove but that was expected.

It did not come with Word, Excel, PowerPoint like I was told. Had to purchase this separately. Tutorials need some work on explaining some of the functions.

First lets talk about why I bought this machine. My wife's old laptop finally got unbearable after 6 years, and she needed a new one. I have had a lot of luck with Asus and am always bargain conscious! ( I own and love my Asus ZenFone 2) The specs look pretty nice, especially compared with the price. It comes with a free upgrade to Windows 10. It feels sturdy, and my wife likes the look and feel of it. That's where the positives end. Windows 8.1 is a joke, terrible. I figured I could just upgrade to Windows 10 and it should fix the issues. The night I brought it home, I signed up for the "get Windows 10" stuff. Here we are, over a month later, and still don't have Windows 10. The best I get is " it could be in a few days or a few weeks!" So, how bad is Windows 8.1? This is the best example: It takes web browsing literally minutes to get through pages. My wife has to click links, and go do other stuff while it loads. We're on a 50MB connection and the MacBook and PC are loading things instantly, its not the internet. I've been a life-long windows guy, but its super hard to navigate the OS to do simple things like save and edit pictures. So, rather its 8.1 or hardware, the laptop is useless. We honestly haven't opened it in the last week. I need to get back on and check if Win 10 is ready. I definitely would not buy this thing (or any Win 8.1) again. Good luck, hope this helps.
