I tried to transfers pictures from my phone to my new Asus laptop, and the computer app made my photos disappear. They are no where on my computer. This made me very sad. I hesitate to transfer any more of my photos on my new Asus, because of what happened.

My needs...a laptop that would last through college. I need it for word processing, web browsing, powerpoints, email. So far it has fit the bill. The upgrade to Windows 10 was seamless, but took a total of 3 hours to complete. Don't like that the CAPS LOCK has not light...I mean really you could have put one on there. The battery life is excellent...5 to 6 hours if you choose the power management settings and turn your screen down. I used if for 3 hours in class and had about 3 to spare when I came home. Plastic case does not seem as flimsy as other low budget laptops. Processor. Try to go with at least an i5 if you want your computer to last and not be in the shop. Celerons and Pentiums are yesterday technology and get overtaxed. I had a Celeron previously and ran into issues. Multitasking is better with this processor. RAM. Computer runs well with the 6GB. May upgrade to 12 GB down the road. Freezes up every now and then on a program but instant reboot of the program. This happened with my Macbook and it had 8 GB with an i7. I would say that all computers are bound to freeze up. I would say this is an awesome low budget laptop and has all the bangs and whistles for me!!!

Bought this as open box. Too many issues (volume not working after a few days, sites wouldn't load, couldn't download Windows 10, etc.).

This computer is very good for very basic needs. It runs slowly and freezes quite a lot.

I have really enjoyed the ASUS laptop and overall, great machine.

So I know Toshiba, HP, Dell, Samsung and names like that. Asus is a pretty new name brand to me. I bought it because the Best Buy rep suggested it. It worked for one week then would not charge. Took it back and got an HP. Plus, it was set up weird with a large space between the front of the computer and the keypad which was really weird and hurt my wrists.

Firstly, in website it was mentioned 2.7ghz but after buy it was only 2.2ghz. Secondly, when we went to store for pickup the laptop, charger was not there. Even this was not mentioned in website. Though, laptop is good, that was only acceptable.

This computer has stood the test of time for my 10 year old. He loves the laptop and take sit every where he goes. It is perfect for he and his friends to play games on.

It stuck's every now and than... Working gets hard

we bought it to have windows 10 come preloaded. Got it home and found it was windows 8 . took it back for a refund. the closest store is 2 hours away so we were not happy.

This laptop has features that are found on much more expensive lap tops. Great Intel Core I5 processor, 1 TB of hard drive space, 6 gb ram, and a dv drw, also has Bluetooth, and 2 usb 3.0 ports. and a vga port.. I found it to be super fast and since I'm in Real Estate it does all I want and does it fast. To me this is a good looking sleek jet in a field of ugly HP machines. The price was amazing....$399... Get it and enjoy it!

I needed the computer and was in a hurry since I had already started an online class. Turns out that it is super slow and the track pad is awful!

The hard drive failed in this computed within 20 days of purchase. The hard drive was replaced and failed a second time within a couple of weeks.
