Upon first time use the updates downloaded and required a restart. When I restarted, the computer could not process the updates and tried to revert back to original settings. It could not go back. Computer was dead. I'm a little cpu savy and I had to call Windows and Asus helpdesk to fix the problem.

So I try and refrain from doing that.I am still getting used to windows 8 and overall I like the laptop except for the occasional lag but for the price it was far worth it.
