Best buy did not have a display of this model out so I could not examine it at all. I took the salesman's word for it and took the reviews word. So I bought it. And all I can say is this laptop is the perfect computer for the price. So its build and durability - The computer has a very good weight to it and does not feel cheap...like my dell. It had pretty good hinges and closes nicely. The keyboard is very nice and easy to type. Nothing really cheap about this computer. I mean its no mac book but its up there. The screen size is perfect and has a very good display. Watching movies on this things is pretty awesome. Overall this thing is built very good, I love it. Performance - I use it for editing photos ( I am a photographer and run photoshop and lightroom. Computer is very fast and gets the job done. I mean it has a i5 processor #for under 500 dollars). Also the computer does not overheat, I have used it for hours at hand doing multiple things and its nice and cool :) Inputs - I like that it had 3 usb inputs and Ethernet, as well as a HDMI input. One drawback that I really wanted was a SD insert for uploading photos. But I just plug my camera in thru the usb port and it works just as well. Battery - Battery charges fast and lasts a good deal of time. Sound - Sounds is pretty good, I don't really buy laptops for there sound quality. But this one seems to do pretty good when I'm streaming Pandora/youtube/Netflix. Drawback - Other than how I don't like windows 8.....nothing to complain about. So wrapping up this review....I love this computer. It is fast, reliable, built to last, gets the job done and is at a very good price. If you are considering this computer, I would tell you to go get it! :)
