He said you can run League of Legends on a toaster. Well, this laptop is worse than a toaster. It lags horribly. Already called Geek Squad for blue screen problems & now I have a white screen. I have to bring this piece of junk into the store to have them look at it. This never happened with a Dell, even the one I got from a pawn shop is better than this ASUS. I need to replace it.

Posted .Dear Student Actually I do have the same model as yours, I also play the game L.O.L or League of Legends. I'm not saying this because I'm an ASUS Customer Loyalty Agent, I'm saying this as a gamer. I bought mine last year and ever since then I didn't encounter any problems with it. I also play a lot of games, like DOTA 2, World of tanks, Diablo 3 and many more. Have you tried doing a hardware reset or system restore? If not, Please try to do a System Restore in order to revert the system to the last known good configuration. After a successful System Restore, please install all recommended WINDOWS Update before using the system.? Also, please verify that third-party applications being installed have the most current update and are fully-Android compliant to avoid conflict that may cause stability problem.? Really,I would spend the extra 100 bucks for this model over the lower priced Asus laptops which appear more "plastic" in my opinion. The laptop cover is very sleek and slick! Also very lightweight. I should mention, the laptop appears slightly different than on the photo. The grays are much darker in person. The most impressive of this laptop is the i5 processor. In short, it runs fast! if I had any complains it would be the screen quality. I am only saying this because I am use to LED and Retina screens. It's good, but I have seen better screen quality, particularly in the more expensive Asus models. Nevertheless, the laptop is great and like I mentioned earlier, best bang for your buck.

The computer would spontaneously shut down and would not turn on for several minutes after. Most recently, the computer will not turn on at all. The computer was completely new and bought directly from best buy. I am having it shipped to ASUS so that it can hopefully have it refurbished.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ill keep it short and simple, aestetically, the computer is sleek and has a nice *quality* plastic feel to it. 4 gigs of DDR3 at 1600 mhz, preforms flawlessly with the i5 processor but i would recommend an extra 4 gb for some extra juice and multitasking abilities. It has great wireless strength as well. Normally i get 3 bars in the basement but with this new laptop i get full bars. The harddrive is a tad small for my liking and a bit slow also, i would recommend a SSD or a 7200 rpm HD. But those are just my suggestions, the computer overall as is without any modification is perfect for any student or youth, that doesnt game heavy (because the intel HD graphics are not designed for it but it can handle most older games on medium settings). The sound quality isnt half bad either. Will update my review if problems or other observations are taken.

My old computer has i3 first generation and it is faster than this one. Unfortunatelly I live out of USA right now, otherwise I will return the unit and try another one.
