Having windows 8 and working with this laptop is kind of annoying. It constantly flips baxk and forth between thr desktop screen and app screen with just a certain swipe of the finger. Usually in the middle of an important task :). I've had this laptop for less than 6 monyhs and has already started freezing, not good ASUS!

Nice laptop which was suits my basic needs of internet browsing and watching videos.

Got it for my mother-in-law for web browsing and emails. No issues, easy to use.

The cameras for Asus are not that great, but that doesn't seem to be an area of emphasis for them. Speed overall is solid, could use a bit more memory but overall works for an average Computer user.

Needed a replacement and this one had everything I needed and more. Great deal.

This computer is great for quick moving around and student information retrieval. Great for a young student who has homework to complete and needs to use Microsoft products!

This laptop is a great value. Good amount of processing power, storage, memory and features for the price. The screen is crisp and sharp. It's relatively thin and light.

This is not a light Chromebook. It has good weight and a large screen. Performance is great for day to day. For someone looking for mobility I'd go with something else.

Spoke with the Intel guy at the store and we went over every laptop and even he knew this was the best computer for our needs andf the price was great.

For my first lab top that I bought in a long time it works pretty good!

i bought this as a gift to my gf since she was starting college. she loves it and can do all the basics with no issues.

this asus laptop is light easy to transport and can hold all the programs anyone could want.it's easy setup and use is just great for and older person as myself.

My kid loves the touchscreen, we love that it's great for homework.

I will often be typing and the main menu appears. This is annoying.

I have had this computer for a year now, and while it does what I need it to do I'm not all that impressed. It is slower than I expected, and often gets hung up. It doesn't crash but it's not as smooth as I was expecting from Asus. So bottom line: it's functional but nothing exceptional.

Every time you want increase/decrease volume or brightness, you have to press fn key. There is no way of locking fn key. So simple tasks like increasing/decreasing volume have to involve two hands. There is no BIOS setting to lock fn key. Other than that it is a good laptop for the money.

Very powerful machine that has all the latest enhancements to do just about any kind of office work and would be perfect for a desktop replacement as well
