Excellently priced ($199) laptop for browsing, paying bills & getting current news, plus using social apps. Can’t beat the speed & 17” monitor is awesome!

Despite being a larger size, this laptop is remarkably light. The setup was easy despite never using this type of operating system and so far I like it. For the price it seems like it was worth it.

as a second computer just for surfing, I love it. I might get a wireless mouse and SD card for memory other than that it's fine for a quick searching notebook. P.S. The screen is great

Great value. It works as expected. I bought it on clearance and as an open box item. It arrives like it was never used. Fast and easy to use, perfect for elderly user.

Initially worked ok, just ok! Then started to freeze and pad stopped working, now have to use external mouse to work.

I got this on sale as a open box for $75. Really a bargain even for a Chromebook. It would have been a bargain for "new" price too. Reasonably fast, nice screen.

Got this 17.3" Chromebook as a companion to the 11.6" Chromebook I bought a month earlier. Chromebooks are easy to use once you get the feel for the keyboard and touchpad.

While it looks like a sleek laptop it's more like a clingy child. To begin, you MUST login to your device any time you wabt to use it; every time you use it! and I don't mean with a four character P.I.N. like current Windows requires. You need a Long Password with multiple characters. Therfore, this was the WRONG thing to for buy for my 92 year Mom! I have difficulty getting on/ in!!! When we couldn't recall her password there were help options to redo it but even that had issues. When we couldn't certify one way there is a sound ootion that is supposed to say characters for you to type in but this voice was speaking in an Alien-German-Mandarin-Line voice that was kinda scary and impossible to understand. Every time you retry a different code the angry voice just vibrated some tinny command. So we would have been ______ if we didn't have the password saved elsewhere. There is another "service" that claims to keep you signed in as long as your Android phone is active nearbye. Failed! So if you like closing the lid or putting your baby on sleep or standby mode you won't be able to simply lift the lid and proceed - but instead will have to thoroughly log in like a stranger on some found laptop every time. The quiet keys are all in lower case for some reason and my compulsiveness has a hard time using them. Didn't ask Mom what she thought because I got her a new Windows laptop with capital letters and easier sign in requirements. She doesn't travel with it nor have criminals as company so the requirements were just too asinine! Since buying, it has dropped to a clearance price $30 less than I got it for and that was one fifty. From the inability of running programs/ software, the tiny hard to see keys, to the minimal games and other apps for Non-Smartphone androids devices, this offers little to some. Will keep as a temporary backup if ever needed.

Quick start. Don't have to wait for Windows programs to load and update because all Chromebook OS and software is in the Google cloud and immediately available.

Bought it for My Brother who does not like Complicated things! I still had to help him a little, but once it was setup he was comfortable and was, "All Square"!!!

Love this awesome Chromebook!!! Awesome sale price. No pressure to "upsell". It was not in stock but they shipped it to me for free the next day. Very satisfied.

It is very confused on whether or not it is a tablet or a computer. I'm not tech savy at the slightest it would have been cool for someone to explain that when I picked it up. Still a great product. I love mine.

Beautiful screen. Handles video and web pages fine. Conmbine with a micro sd card and you can watch many hours of videos from Amazon Prime Video. Well worth the price of a Ben Franklin and Gen. U.S. Grant.

This computer is a great base model chromebook. It's fast and pretty light for a 17 inch. Can connect an external monitor if you need dual screens.

This was an excellent buy. I purchased for my mom. It’s big and she prefers it that way. She’s plays games, checks her email and streams with no problem

I love the asus laptop, but I just have to remind myself the operation sytem is not windows and I do not have the same programs on it

Very nice Chromebook. Only complaints, it's quite heavy and the screen is kinda washed out. The colors could have more depth. Great performance, very fast.

I needed something that work like a high end pc but was not too expensive and the ASUS 17.3 Chromebook fit my needs perfectly
