We're sorry to hear about the issues you had with shutting down your unit. In a case like this we would've recommended a Hard Reset/Restart:
1. Unplug the charger
2. Press and hold the power button for 1 full minute
3. Plug in only the charger and start up normally

Try this and see if works

I updated the chrome but nothing so bad experience

In order to establish a Bluetooth connection successfully, please ensure the cellphone is running with the most current OS update and is being recognized or detected by the Chromebook. Also, please verify inside Settings if Bluetooth was enabled and the device was paired and connected successfully. To cast successfully to a Smart TV, please follow instructions posted at: https://support.google.com/chromecastbuiltin/answer/3228332?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop.

mistake

I had to call the geek squad and they told me how to do a factory reset and hard restart. Geek Squad told me to go the nearest Best Buy ASAP. I havent done so yet and am now using my old dell.

Asus macbook

Amazing Laptop for a Great Price!

Granted the laptop was on sale when I bought it, but still. This laptop is lightning fast, comes with a nice scene, decent but loud audio, and it's easy to use. Couldn't ask for a better deal!

Chromebooks for Life!

Fits my needs perfectly, its quiet, doesn't get hot, and performs exactly as advertised! My last one stopped receiving updates after 7 years, and it was just as fast after 7 years as it was on day one.

Asus 17.3" Chromebook - No substitute for it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been using it since 3 weeks and this is an amazing 17" Chromebook. The screen 1080p is outstanding - crisp and clear. My initial interest was to get Acer 317 (which is also a 17" Screen at $380) but opted this one because of the price ($200) with few compromises - No Touchscreen, only 4GB RAM and slightly a slower N4500 (Acer comes with N6000 CPU). I figured touch-screen is not a deal-breaker as I'm keeping this Laptop on the Table (can't hold it on Lap due it's size). And I use Acer 713 (a top-end Chromebook) for couch purpose. 4GB RAM is working out nice even when I opened multiple tabs (more than 8). So that's not a big issue CPU is not a big issue as most of the time I'm watching YouTube or viewing my emails etc (none of them are serious CPU hoggers). The Keyboard is definitely much better on Acer (but this is also not a big issue as I'm not typing much these days. Overall this 17" Chromebood is so nice to have on the table for doing serveral things simultaneously. I haven't observed any sluggishness with serveral things going on. If big-size screen is important for you, then you can't go wrong with this at $200
