My wife is really enjoying this new laptop, even though she hates to get new tech, This fits her needs very well the screen is large enough that she does not need to add a monitor and light enough she can take with her to use when she is away from home. Since she does not do any gaming other than casual games this will work for her.

For the money, this is a really nice laptop. Has a big screen with plenty of space on the hard drive and powerful enough to stream video.

I like the size of the screen. I purchased a separate wireless keyboard and mouse because I use it primarily on a desk and it's uncomfortable for my shoulders to type in that position. I don't like (and never have) ANY keyboard mouse. It came, of course, with Windows 10, which is taking some getting used to, but overall is great, too. I am not a gamer, but expect that this would be great for that, too. I like the speed of the operating system, and it seemed to become a bit faster with the new keyboard and mouse.

This is a really good computer for the price. The only issue I had is with the number pad. The zero is much smaller than typical number pads. I know this sounds strange but I am an accountant so I use it a lot. I am constantly hitting the right arrow key that is right next to it. Otherwise very good computer.

This laptop is great. Purchased it for a great price! Always look for open box deals while shopping at your local Best Buy :) The size is great, and it is much lighter than I had anticipated because of the large screen. My only complaint is the space bar. Unless you make a conscious effort to press it harder than you normally would, you may or may not end up with a few words running into each other. This is a hit or miss issue....not a big deal at all. I would recommend this laptop to anyone!

This is my first Asus laptop and I am so far impressed by its quality and features. I wish it were lighter but I needed the screen size and DVD player so I can't complain. It's met all my expectations so far.

I was in need of a new laptop but on a limited budget. After looking online forever at different sites I just wanted to see some in person so on Black Friday I drove down to Best Buy, saw this on the shelf and it was perfect for the price and my needs. Well done.

My wife and I had to replace our computers because they were so out of date--Windows Vista. We had been told that Windows 10 is a great improvement over 7, 8 or 9. It may be improved for some tech nerd, but not for us, who found that programs that used to be easy to learn and operate now are difficult, just to get the same thing. Also ;having to get permission through some "account" to do something is a pain in the rear end. I could go on and on. Why aren't there owner's manuals anymore or help from the seller on how to something without having to pay for it.

What can you say? It is everything that I have come to expect from an ASUS computer. There is a reason that I have 6 ASUS computers in my house. Reliable, Durable, Best Value that I have found by far.

This laptop is very user friendly. It has a nice size keyboard and screen but is not overly heavy.

Laptop is great for all purposes, both home and office. The large screen is excellent.

My laptop had died and I needed a replacement quickly. This is exactly what I wanted and is almost perfect. My only complaints are the space bar doesn't work unless you press the exact middle and I really don't like Windows 10.

This laptop is perfect for the use. My only critique is all of the bloat ware that is installed by the manufacturer. Perhaps an option that would allow for the elimination of it. Be the first manufacturer with the hutspah to offer this. You might find a new type of loyal client. I paid to have all of ours removed.

Everything working as expected so far. The keypad on this laptop seemed more durable. We like the separate 10-key function. The screen size is large. The charging cable is the only downfall, since it is special.

I bought this laptop not wanting to spend much, get a large screen & being able to pick up locally. It is as I expected, slow and cumbersome. I am using for some word processing, email and internet browsing so the speed is not critical. The screen is surprisingly nice for $429 and I would recommend for someone who needs an inexpensive laptop.

At this price level it is ideal for office use, with the keypad where it has numerical plus a price lower than a PC! The Screen is almost like what we are using for PC (even bigger than our PC's monitor)

I was used to my HP for 5yrs. It started to run very slow I brought it to the Geek Squad for cleaning. I looked around for a back up computer to use while it was being fixed. I got the ASUS as a backup but now I find it easy to use and to start it up that I now have my HP as the back up. Love the ease of getting started and the Windows 10.

It's a great laptop. I was looking for something with expandable memory and a large screen. It's perfect!
