I am a apple guy through and through but thought I would give a windows computer a shot. This computer exceeded my expectations and is actually quite a bit faster than my Apple!

Second ASUS laptop. Although costly, pleased with performance and speed! Would prefer if keyboard backlight was not red, instead of the customary white light. Highly recommended!

My son loves the colors and the background highlighted by red. It's so fast in every possible way that a gamer would need for school or playing games.

Shopped for months based on online reviews on gaming laptops and couldn't be any happier. Yes, it does not have a touch screen, but the speed and customization is the best.

I had bought an HP ;laptop and had trouble with the hinges breaking. So I was looking for a more robust laptop. A gaming laptop is very robust. I don't game but it has everything you could want and it is very robust. I did have a little trouble but ASUS tech support was the best I have ever dealt with and was able to fix my computer in a matter of minutes.

I am not a "gamer", but I bought this for its power and graphics. Excellent for use with digital photography. Opening and transferring 24 megapixel images is very fast with the 12 GB Ram. I will probably upgrade to 32, but that is overkill for my needs. Display is excellent and is not a touchscreen, which I prefer. It is heavy, but when your getting the power of a desktop in a 17.3 laptop, that is to be expected.

I bought this item and since have had zero issues. It plays most games on ultra with 75+ fps and everything on High with 120+ fps. I love it.

This computer is absolutely amazing. It's powerful and can handle anything I throw at it. Definitely worth the price.

Considering I got this as an Open Box Buy it was completely new. There was no sign of previous use. It powers any game you want it to easily.

I love the big screen and the lit keyboard. It does everything I expected it to do. It is fast enough for my needs and has a huge storage capacity.

The laptop is not really portable. Powerful enough for gaming. Dislike all the popups from software which comes with install.

I adore this laptop, all my games run perfectly. At first I was a little hesitant but it has proven it's worthiness ! A must buy laptop for gamers

Great computer. It was suppose to be open box geek certified, it was missing dvd-r driver. I couldn't play a movie, load a game, or even listen to music. I know Win 10 lacks driver but on open box you would think they would know that when the computer originally came with Win 8 and had been updated before my purchase. I am just surprised that geek squad let that go as is. Got it upgraded and it works good. Think it needs upgrade to ssd and 32gb ram would make it run faster. Good job Asus.

I made sure to get closed box. I've had problems in the past with open boxes. I got home and set it up and found that only about half of my games would run correctly and I was angry about spending this much money on a computer that couldn't handle my software. SOLUTION: I found that after I updated Windows 10, everything ran fine. From this, I learned to always update a new computer before expecting it to run the way you think it should. (...or have them do it at the store before you take it home, if you don't know how to do it yourself.)

I needed a laptop with high-end capabilities. While I do use it for games, it was primarily intended to host applications requiring lots of RAM, like video rendering and special effects, along with big databases. With RAM expandable to 64GB, this was almost a no-brainer. But, the machine lived up to everything it was supposed to be. My wife owns the previous incarnation of this machine, and I own this one. These ASUS machines are awesome.

This computer is a beast! Great for gaming and everything else. This was a little pricy, compared to how much my old Dell cost, but worth it.

This laptop is a great choice if you like gaming. I would recommend this laptop to anyone who plans on using it for gaming and other stuff.

Before coming in to the store, my wife and I had done a lot of research into laptops for her. She needed a good GPU because she wanted to run games, and a good amount of RAM to do work. She actually wanted this ASUS model, but the price was too high and we had come to look at another brand. The sales-woman stated they had a last generation close-out model that was on sale, and it happened to be the model we originally wanted, at a better price than the other manufacturer we were there to buy. Of course we had to pick it up!

This is a very nice computer and non of the games I play lag at all and they are big games like mine craft and space engineers. Love it!!

Great computer. Its a computer that my son can grow into. I would suggest that you consider this one when getting a gaming type computer.
