The reason I did not give 5 star is the drive. It junk best thing to do is to replace it rite away with an SSD drive since they have come down in price you will be allot happier with this computer. I started it to make sure it was ok no dead pixels and then replaced drive.

This is an amazing little gaming laptop. Good processor, great screen, decent graphics card. not bad at all. I literally have no complaints. After the first few days getting the kinks worked out with all the software i run it seems to run like a champ. Boots fast, runs all my games at high framerates. I love it. That said there are some newer machines in the same price point that have significantly better GPUs so go for those if you can. I bought mine open box so I got a smokin' price.

I bought this for my son when our desktop couldn't handle Fallout 4 or GTA 5. They play perfectly on this laptop. There is even built in software so my son can record gameplay or livestream it online. He loves it!

Love this laptop. Very fast and is exactly what I wanted for the picture editing that I do. Couldn't be any happier about this purchase which took me 2 years to finally make this purchase.

this is my first Gamer Laptop and it is faster then my desktop and I recommend to everyone that is looking for a Gamer or just a fast Laptop

Bought this to play some games my old laptop wouldn't. This laptop not only performs but also outperforms my family members alien ware. It was cheaper and in my opinion better!

This Laptop does everything that I need. From normal school work to gaming when i'm bored.

While this computer is great for it's intended use; my significant other can game with ease on it... The Windows 10 OS is awful. It makes updates to itself regularly, even though that feature has been turned off. And those updates often ruin the good things that were there. So I'd recommend this computer in general, becuase ASUS rocks and the build of the computer is strong and solid (DON'T BUY the previous "touch screen" model though- it was *terrible*); it's got good keyboard tension and easy connectivity to Bluetooth or wired devices.

This is a great laptop. It has many upgrade options available: you can add 2 m.2 SSD's, 2 extra RAM modules, and upgrade the SATA hard drive. I added a Samsung 950 pro m.2 drive and this laptop is blazingly fast. It is a little large and heavy, but it is worth it for the power and options. Beautiful display, especially when calibrated. It would be even better if it had a 970 or 980 graphics chip, but for most the 965 is more than adequate. It was good enough to replace our desktop system. It's that good.

I was a little skeptical about buying this laptop. Mainly because this is my first gaming laptop I've ever purchased. To my surprise, this thing is AWESOME. It can handle any game that I throw at it with ease and tit doesn't get extremely hot. I try to turn the graphics up and have not had any issues. I just wish that it came with an ssd also, but this still works great.

I bought this for my wife so she could game on her laptop, WOW, I am soooooooo jealous! I want one! Can be upgraded to 64GB of DDR4 RAM! Enough said!

There were 2 gaming laptops at my Best Buy store. I went to purchase the other gaming laptop. When I I arrived, this higher priced ASUS with more "bells and whistles" and far better graphics card was there. I bought the ASUS and I've had it 2 months. My biggest problem is where is the Owner's Manual. The laptop is LOADED with games, XBOX Live. I've added STEAM so I can take SKYRIM with me on trips instead of staying home to play.

My son was thrilled with this laptop! I'm not a gamer but he said it was great - played all his games and the graphics are awesome.

I am just getting into gaming on PC and wasn't sure what to get. The associate showed this laptop that was as powerful as some of the desktops I was looking at. It has great load times and can play most games on high settings without lag. Exceeded my expectations.

Good gaming laptop reliable and a lot of upgrades available

I was very impressed at the speed of this computer.I usually buy HP but this is truly a power house.It leaves my HP in the dust.
