I did do extensive research,and this by far exceeds what I paid for.

This computer is great! Running an i7 gen6 processor, 12Gb memory with 4Gb graphics dedicated, 1T HD, 17" monitor with great color....it doesn't get much better for me...

This Asus laptop is a powerful piece of technology. It is very fast and easy to use, although it is very heavy when transporting. We're very satisfied with it.

We love this machine so much that we purchased two--one for our daughter who is studying animation and illustration and another for our son who develops websites and programs in various languages as a hobby.

This computer is amazing for all the games I play! I do facebook games all day long and plenty of speed and room!

I must say that this is the very best pc I've ever owned. The fan almost never has to run when I use it as I don't do any heavy duty gaming on it. My grandson uses it for gaming when he's here and he loves it. The graphics are exceptional. It works wonderfully with any type of gaming he does without any problems at all. No overheating. It doesn't even get warm. An excellent pc

Love the keyboard, very fast and great for games. It's big and heavy but then again it's 17.3". Still love it

Looks cool , nice features but a little overpriced

This is my second ASUS laptop like this. The first one the company I worked for bought for me and when I left they kept it. Bummer  So I bought my own. I use it for work not so much gaming. It is smoking fast. The only thing I would do different is get the 15.6”. This thing is huge and I have yet to find a bag for it. It weighs 8.8 lbs. so it is hard to carry around. All in all I can live with this stuff to have the speed and graphics of this laptop.

The laptop is great, i love it. I use it for school, which requires VMware, and basic usage of video, and course criteria I am looking up. Only thin is the battery does not last long, only a few hours which I would expect when I am using VMware. The laptop does heat up a bit, depending on the type of material you have it on. I would advise a cooling fan for long usage. Also a Gaming Laptop Bag for traveling.

Love this computer. It has a nice screen and is very fast for my Facebook games which I bought it for.

This computer was everything I was looking for. So many inputs to run mutiple monitors and plenty of usbs to hook up to. The keys light up red....which is cool. The only problem I have is its pretty bulky...I knew that going in. The buttons for the touchpad are pretty flimsy as well. Great gaming computer and if you want to upgrade your computer the back plate comes off with ease.

Boots up fast, very fast computer, great graphics, works great. only giving 4 of 5 due to what is most likely a windows 10/Microsoft Edge issue.

Everything about it is awesome! The only thing I don't like is the battery life. It's running two duel cooling fans so it sucks the battery out. Also, finding a backpack for this is a pain!
