    Didn't like how it turned off to easily being it has side button on side of computer. Should definitely be re-designed. Overall I like the computers performance. Hate windows 10 should have choice of which Windows you like. Loved the mobility and on screen performance. Fast speed. I generally buy HP but decided to change. And I was quite impressed could have better tech support.

    I bought this computer for school in July 2017. I mostly used this to do homework, and my old 2012 MacBook for everything else. The computer was somewhat slow out of the box, but within a few months it started freezing for no good reason. At most I'd be running three programs: Edge, Word, and maybe Excel. After four months the computer would have to go through a disk repair process during start up. Sometimes it would fail in the middle of it. A magic trick that worked sometimes is leaving it alone for a day, then powering it up. Sadly, this stopped working about a week ago. Half the time I can't even get a BIOS screen now. Just black. Gone through about every troubleshooting procedure google can muster up. All signs point to the HD failing. I won't get into the Asus warranty, but it's worthless. You pay the shipping, and usually nothing is fixed longer than a month. Look at the BBB reports on Asus for hundreds of stories. Looks like a I learned a $600 lesson.
