Good computer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good computer, fast startup. Sound is not that great for the price. My husbands other laptop(sony) sounds better and clearer than this even when at 25% volume.

either too bright or too dim
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When my son plays Minecraft on it, the display of brightness is very bad. We try to control from the Brightness from the menu and also the brightness from the options from Minecraft. No matter what we do, it doesn't seem to work for the Minecraft game. If it is played on a different computer, the brightness is much better. The general display of brightness besides Minecraft is so, so.

Broken excuse for a computer that never got fixed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Kept getting so many issues with this laptop from the start. They kept having to send it to get it fixed but would take soo long to get it back, I would then see it was still having the same problems and had to have them send it again and again. By the fourth or fifth time I again received it and it was still having problems but they told me my insurance ran out and that they couldn't help me even though they never solved the problem. Worse experience ever!

Asus is Unreliable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I should have listened to the reviews or should I say warnings about this. 8 months into use without a single issue, the motherboard supposedly blew. Sure it’s under warranty, but I will most likely be without my computer now for who knows how long while they replace it. There is no excuse for this to happen so quickly into the lifespan of this computer. This will be the last Asus I ever purchase.

RE: ASUS - 2-in-1
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The computer itself was great running machine.. My poor rating is due to: 1. Had to exchange it 2 weeks after purchasing because of a bad graphic card. 2.. Had to return that one 1 week later because the charging port & wire broke. It think this was due to the port being too tight for the charger. Decided to go with HP due to all the problems so early on into owning this computer

Bad Screen
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really lliked this laptop but after only a few hours the screen started burning in. I cant believe on a modern laptop the screen would start burning in, especially on a lcd. I noticed it on the background when booting the taskbar icons were burning into the screen. I was really dissapointed and returned it!!!

Poor śound and number pad laid out wrong.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a premium 2-1 laptop with a number pad. I didn't realize until I got home with the laptop that the number pad was laid out wrong, the decimal point was located a the top of the pad, this is against standard convention. Also the sound was awefull Both I would not expect From a $1400 unit.

Bad ergonomics.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After using this notebook for 15-20 minutes, my hands literally went numb. I tried it in different positions and on different surfaces, always with the same results. I don't know if it was the ergonomic construction or something about the materials. I just rushed to return it while I could.

Great computer but pixel burn
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was very fast and sleek, but I had pixel burn after just a few hours of use. I returned it for another one and still got pixel burn. I checked the display model and it also had it. It's unbelievable to have the on a 4k LCD screen. Not acceptable.

Bad laptop for photography business
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've wasted countless hours up with technical support trying to solve an issue with the Microsoft OneDrive and it still hasn't been fixed. Definitely not worth the money!!

Beautiful Machine
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been working on this laptop for a week already and I am very pleased with it. I am a programming student and it was time for me to replace my 5-year-old i3 processor Samsung laptop. This Asus laptop is beautifully and sturdily built and the 4k screen is awesome, but it is true what the other consumer stated about the ghost image. I noticed tinny faded parts of the taskbar such as the windows icon, the mail icon, and the date indicator when watching videos in full-screen. I have heard that several displays nowadays suffer from this problem and I don't really care that much. I just hope it doesn't get worse. In terms of performance, this machine is really fast, doesn't lag at all with heavy-task demanding programs , and it has a very important feature for me that is slowly disappearing (numeric keypad). The two hard drives setup along with the numeric keypad were the selling point for me.

Good Laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this laptop 6 days ago. So far so good. The screen is absolutely amazing. I use this machine to work with clients and a large viewing angle is necessary so we can all see the screen at the same time even when off angle. It works great for that. Another reviewer mentioned screen burn in. I do not see any ghosting so far. With the 8Th gen i7 in this laptop it’s finally faster than my old 2600k i7 in my desktop. It’s an impressive machine and is the first laptop I have used that can actually replace my desktop. The bad. The touch pad glitches. It is unresponsive at times. Two finger scrolling is difficult and sometimes the left click does not click. I have to pick up my fingers and try again then it works. My wife’s surface pro is flawless in this regard. This needs to be fixed. Battery life is not the best but if you turn the performance down to max battery saver the battery lasts quite nicely. The good. It’s fast, lots of storage, great screen, nice overall look and feel.

Great Laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This laptop is absolutely great. Color reproduction is awesome. It's fast, and has pretty good battery life ~5 hours or so. Of course that depends on usage. The added dedicated graphics are a nice boon that add a bit more to productivity and light gaming. The laptop has a very solid feel to it. Coming from a returned Envy X360, it's in a complete league of it's own. No flex from the bottom when picking it up. The display is nice, and all features work well. The keyboard isn't bad at all, but doesn't have as much travel time compared to some others. The trackpad is nice, but can be a bit spazzy at times. Likely a driver update will resolve that. The RAM and CPU are great, and even allow light virtual machines. I use this laptop for work and personal use. Great 5/5. Definitely beats my Macbook Pro.

Impressive laptop for the price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I searched days for a replacement laptop for my buggy machine so I could continue day trading online with confidence. I purchased the ASUS Q35UD for its out of this world screen display, newest core chip, and very fast startup speed and memory. The bonus feature is its a thing of beauty to see and the price wasn't bad either. Based on my needs...I'm impressed with this laptop as it met/exceeded every one of my requirements.

SO MANY good features, but still nervous
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Good: SPEEEEEED! RAM! Graphics! SO much storage. The bad: The out of the box color profile is TERRIBLE. haven't really got this tuned yet. The Windows 10 color calibration tool is handy, but everything is super saturated. The reds are particularly horrible. Also, the speakers are a COMPLETE joke. They must have paid the Harmon Kardon guys roughly a billion dollars to get the sign-off here. The speakers are incredibly weak and you simply can't rely on them for anything. Headphones or external speakers are frankly a must. I'm also slightly nervous about the completely exposed motherboard that you can see quite plainly through the grill on the bottom. I get the feeling that this will not stand the test of time if we don't pamper it. Which does diminish somewhat the usefulness of a super portable 2-in-one...

Really nice start, but returned
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased and waited 2 weeks for it and loved it when I opened it and had all the features I was looking for! The faceid login worked well, the 4k screen was gorgeous and tablet mode worked alright for me. However I found the 2GB hard drive was faulty after a day and letting itunes download to it after 1/2 a day. The Hard drive was not visible in disk management and rebooted still not there. I let it cool and tried again the next day and was back but shortly again it disconnected. So I had to return it. The screen LCD had some hot spots on it, lower left corner and strong hinges and bendable screen when you use it on the edges to pull. I loved most things about the laptop but had to return with a faulty drive.
