I bought this laptop because of it is awesome specs, light, and super slick Mac-like design. The touchscreen and the feel of the whole thing were amazing. It was was fast, and felt like a premium machine, until I noticed a problem with the bottom of the screen... When I first booted, Windows started to update with a gray screen showing the percentages and stuff. That flat gray color made me realize that the bottom of the screen had burned in Windows icons. Then I saw that some other review also mentioned the same issue... As a power user who paid over 1300 for a laptop, I couldn't tolerate this. So I returned it immediately and got another one. Same problem. Well, apparently, and unfortunately, though Asus can put together a nice design with awesome specs, they can't make good LCD screens for this line of laptops... I'm going to return it tomorrow and get a Dell. I'm upset. I really liked this laptop. I gave it 2 chances but it lost both of them. So that's it. Moving on to a different brand...

Specs are extremely good, touch screen, Facial recognition. 2 in 1 is great, like a laptop and tablet if you prefer. Very fast, SSD & HDD, 8th gen processor. Solidly built & looks good.

So far so good. Got this laptop 5 days ago and I haven't had any problems. I didn't give it 5 stars because the keyboard feels somewhat weak/cheap. Besides that, everything is great. Love the 4K screen, colors and blacks are great.

Love the ASUS brand. This is my 2nd one due to the hinges breaking on last years model and needing to replace it under warranty. Seems like the numberpad layout was made upside down. Its useless if you use a calculator often. I am puzzled as to why the layout has the plus minus buttons on top and the mult and divide above them. It makes no sense. I want to rip the keys off. I had to buy this one because the specs are great and could not wait 3 weeks for repair of the old one. So be careful with the hinges they wont hold up longer than a year. And best buy will not replace the cpu when they break only repair. I needed a cpu so I had no choice and didnt want to buy a cheap model. This specs on this are great. 4k 16 ram lots of storage. Screen is spectacular. But this keyboard is horrible.

great machine still running strong , really happy with it

Liked laptop and functioned well for my small business. But after 18 months hinge broke and Geek Squad is telling me it will be over $600 for repair parts for hinge and resulting damage to panel and frame. Normal use. Not a situation I want to repeat. Will look elsewhere for my next laptop. Also haven't been able to get a written quote from Geek Squad that describes the parts and repair needed. Told me I would get only after I authorize repair? Not the way I want to do business. Frustrating...

Very happy with this machine. It has a fantastic picture and I like the adjustable back lit keyboard. It runs really quite and is responsive and fast and after researching many other 4k models I can say that I am very happy with this computer and would recommend it in a heartbeat - great computer :-)

I just broke the screen after 3.5 years… I’m sad they don’t make it anymore.

I bought an Asus 2 in 1 from another retailer. The battery only lasted 3 hours. I have sent it in for repair 3 times and it is still not fixed. Each time they state the problem incorrectly and they tell me they have fixed it and have fully tested and verified that the problem was fixed. Even after three returns, they refuse to correctly acknowledge the short battery life and they refuse to replace it. In general, Asus makes good stuff, but their quality control is very bad and their customer service is absolutely horrible. Avoid this company.
