The bad part is all the android apps install just fine, but open in tiny windows which is pointless. This laptop is great as long as you stay away from that!

I recommended that he switched to a non-Windows PC using this Chromebook. He immediately loved it as all the issues he was having went away. Specifically got this one as it is the only Chromebook that has an HDMI output available at that time and it was not expensive.

He had been complaining about it's performance since day 1. Finally I gave into his demand to get this for him. The specs were more than decent as compared to his school machine and the price for open-box item made it affordable. Overall a good educational machine for middle school and high school starters.

Plus its not dependent on the vampires at Microsoft with their constant updates that never improve anything & only change stuff, just to change stuff. Sorry, this review veered off point there. But if you want a laptop great at surfing the internet, with limited bells & whistles this a good one.
