Plus its not dependent on the vampires at Microsoft with their constant updates that never improve anything & only change stuff, just to change stuff. Sorry, this review veered off point there. But if you want a laptop great at surfing the internet, with limited bells & whistles this a good one.

I have played Stadia games on it also and it's done a fine job at that light gaming. Overall extremely happy with my purchase. I would not have any 2nd thoughts on getting another Asus Chromebook in the future based on what I'm getting with this one.

I returned that and purchased this instead. Its great. I use it for online college courses and I have anywhere from 30 to 50 different browsers/tabs/apps going at the same time with no hiccups. The 10 was a wonderful addition!

Worst Laptop EVER!

I would like to thank the associate (sarcasm) who helped me with this transaction her exact words were "I have no idea about laptops" when I asked for help and there was no one available to help either. I was told this laptop was simple to use and that it uses chrome and the google applications to work. I purchaised this as a gift. The laptop not being a year old and the fan is so loud its kind of distracting and disruptive in certain locations. While I do know that laptops are delicate they should take a few accidental light drops, this laptop after it was accidentally knocked down the coffee table received a scratch on the shell, and a few months later the screen had issues. I loved Asus because the Zenbook had been durable with a few accidental knocks, and it lasted me more than 6 years after my siser handed it down to me before it began to have processing and charging issues. After this chromebook which I got for my friend since Asus lasted me a while began to show issues with hardware, I dont see myself buying another Asus. I don't even know if the laptop not turning on whle updating is suppose to be a good thing or not. There's also the weird noise that comes from the laptop.
