Asus Chromebook

Much heavier than my last chromebook, it is an inch wider and more horsepower though. Great screen, lighted keyboard. Main complaint is the fan noise...the thing is always running. Didn't realize how much I appreciated the quiet of my old Acer chromebook. Probably would not purchase again.

Open Box Excelent????????
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.shoped online. under this condition Open-Box Excellent Looks brand new Includes all original parts/accessories Typically contains packaging got to go far to pick up computer what I received no box, no packaging, no accessories. computer had zero charge, so battery must have suffered damage. after discussing with sales rep, he agreed to get me a charger, and looked up a phone charger. (probably a strong generic) . computer had many signs of use, worn track pad, worn rubber feets, had to return. sales rep was gentle and kind, he even told me computer should have not be In Open-Box Excellent, but open box satisfactory or fair. My big surprise " I just return home, and computer is listed again as open box excellent" So It is BestBuy policy????????

Bad left speaker
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this in April 2022 and exchanged it the next day due to a bad left speaker. After the exchange, the new laptop speaker worked great and I was excited again. Then the next day, the new laptop left speaker went bad. The speaker on both went out after the first chrome os update that I didnt catch on to until the 2nd time. Contacted Asus and they told me to take it to best buy for service. I couldnt phathum spending $570 only to have it serviced the first week so I returned and bought an Accer. After much research, I was really looking forward to my first Asus product but this experience left a bad taste. Asus, please figure out this left speaker problem. I have seen others on reddit and youtube channel comments stating the same recent problem.

Asus laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was trying to buy this laptop thinking it was a Asus Chromebook flip CX5 they later took what was supposed to be 658.50 later they declined the purchase for no reason and blamed it on my bank and told me to buy it aging. Two days later at 744.00. after much debate, I was told no we don't care when you originally bought it you have to buy it at this price. I later went to Asus showed them what they are selling and said that this is a fake it's a different middle they just changed the outside looks to look like a CX5 I would never buy from them ever-aging and this isn't the only product they are doing this with.

All around bad experience

Tech support no help - they wanted me to drive 50 miles to let them look at it. Resisted when I wanted to return it. Finally sent me a label. They received return over 10 days ago and I've heard nothing! DO NOT DO ONLINE BUSINESS WITH BB!!

To resolve the flickering screen issue, please try to connect the Chromebook to another known good power source or AC outlet and away from electronic or electrical devices that maybe generating excessive electrical or RF noise. Uncleaned power source or faulty electrical or electronic device that is generating excessive electrical noise can disturb static-sensitive devices or components in the laptop that may cause the screen to flicker.
