This baby is a beast, I'm shocked how fast it goes, my trackpad is fine and the screen is soo pretty.

This computer is very fast, has a clear and vivid screen picture at a reasonable price.

My fiancé loves his laptop. He uses it for work as a semi driver and likes that he can flip it in half and watch movies on it and that is very easy to use for excel sheets and other apps. One downside is it can be a pain to turn on once it’s in deep sleep mode.

For a non-digital savy person, my wife loves it. It is easy to use, powerful and responsive.

Bought this for my son for school. It works grest, has all-day battery life, and is fast.

I've only had this computer for a short time but it is exactly the computer that I wanted. The Chromebook boots up quickly and I never have to go into Windows. All of the data I had stored in the chrome cloud, like Drive and Photos, was downloaded immediately. It is a great buy, and very fast.

Purchased with the intention of replacing various android tablets and an ancient Windows laptop. So far so good. I decided to create multiple gmail accounts to "partition" the apps for each - personal, work, online education, etc. There are a few apps from the Play store that won't install (bc Intel? not sure), but there are browser-based ways around most of those. The laptop itself is quick, and the video is sharp, even when in Flip mode. Battery length is good, although not as long as ASUS reports. The keyboard is tactile and having the numeric keypad is a must. I did have to search how to enable hyper-threading, and that has solved a few performance problems. The only downside is that it gets a bit hot running video-intensive applications. Flip mode helps there, or I'll use a laptop cooling fan. No biggie. That being said, it's relatively light, thin, and is proving to be a very good all-around laptop.

So far so good. Getting adjusted to the differences between a Chrome laptop and a regular laptop. Works well with surfing the web and streaming videos. The 15.6 inch screen size is perfect. Not to small and not to large.

I have been researching a new Chromebook since around January 2021. The Asus C536EA was and is the best option for me. Large brilliant screen. quiet but clicky keyboard. Backlit keyboard. Setup was super easy, installing apps both play store and browser add ons is quick and simple. The ability to use android apps is a big plus. The touchscreen is very nice, though I don't use it as much. I plugged in a cheap logitech wireless mouse using the bluetooth adapter and love that. Didn't have to wait for it to recognize the dongle or mouse. It just worked. At roughly 4 #'s for some it is too heavy but for me it's just fine. Going from laptop to tablet is quick and simple. Speed wise, the CPU is quick and responsive, I've had music playing, 8 tabs open in Chrome, and never felt any real slow down. I play electronic drums, and wanted to record from my Roland kit to my Chromebook, after installing an app, the connection was simple MIDI over USB. Again just like the mouse it was quick to identify the drums. The app itself took the longest since I'd never used it before. My wife uses the Chromebook to telework into her work PC and the only issue she has had is the lack of function keys, which is a quick change in the settings. She can go all day use (8 hours+) on a charge and not have to worry about the battery dying. Compared to other "similar," Chromebooks, this was by far and above the best of them.

I really like my new Asus Chromebook C536. It has several features my previous Chromebook didn't have, such as a backlit keyboard and a touchscreen. In addition, there is a 10-key numeric keypad on the right side of the keyboard, which comes in very handy for entering numeric data. I'm a CPA and I find that feature to be incredibly handy.

I own a computer by the same company and had it for a long time

Pleased with this computer's features and performance. The only problem is it started making a loud rough noise at intervals after 1 year. It still performed normally but the noise level increased in volume and duration to almost constant after 17 months. I am going to stop at the store to speak with the troubleshooting desk to see what they think the problem is and how expensive to fix. I am a heavy user averaging around 12 hours per day

This year my daughter has in class learning in school and wanted her to have a good latop as a back up plan just in case of remote learning. This chromebook as all the tools needed for remote learning and easy to use for my 10 year old daughter. Its touchscreen ability its perfect for todays world and with the built-in keyboard allows her to learn real typing stills.

I love this laptop and it is so good for work and documents. I will not advise to purchase if you’re programming because it’s not compatible with the other programs. It has great speeds and you don’t need any extra anti-virus to purchase.

Good buy, battery life is excellent. Easy to access apps.

This laptop is very easy to use and it's very fast

It's been great for my specific use. Prior to this we've had two other basic Chromebooks but decided to try a premium model and it is worth it. We've made use of every feature premium models has like the folding display and touchscreen. Touchscreen is precise and display is great.
