Just purchased this laptop a few days ago and it seems good so far. I purchased this to replace a toshiba satellite radius p55w-b5220. This has all the bells and whistles u need. I am not impressed with the Harmon kardon speakers, the sound quality is clear but at its loudest its pretty low. Been using my cell phone to listen to music when normally I'd use my laptop. Speakers are small n underneath the keyboard which I think is what makes the loudest volume too low. The backlight keyboard is just OK, not that bright and can't even see that the keyboard is backlight if it's light in the room at all which I don't like. But overall, it's sleek, light, fast and good so far.

Been a good one fore 5 years but now it is time to get a new one

Ive had this laptop going on three years now and it still impresses the IT guys at work when they remote in to do updates. It's fast and perfect for work. I even bring it with me to the office now and work from it when I'm there! Buy it, you won't they it.

Have been researching for awhile and for the current price and all the features, design, feel, and screen display, etc you cannot go wrong with this machine. Has all the features and specs I wanted in a very nice looking and durable laptop. Being a 2 in 1 with a fingerprint reader and the extra oomph for Ram and SSD was icing on the cake. Picture and sound is very good as well.

The only negative I have with this laptop is the USB ports are on opposite sides. When using an external disc dive you need an extension usb.

Very impressed, love the way SSD's boot. Solidly built, great features for the price, Have not had long but battery life seems to be good and that is a big deal to me. Not a lot of bloatware included and I like that. Only used it for a couple of days and nothing bad to say so far.

I saw that support for Windows 7 would end next year and decided to upgrade now. The specs for this laptop were just what I wanted and more. I was disappointed after setup, however. First, it's not as fast as the reviews stated. I emailed files from my 7 year old Toshiba to myself to copy into my ASUS and was surprised to find that the emails appeared twice an fast on the old Toshiba. Both laptops are connected to the same 2.4 ghz wifi router and have the same security (Webroot). The backlights on the keyboard are useless. They light up only half the height of the characters and are dim on the highest setting. There's no number lock indicator - just trial and error. On a positive note, the speakers and screen resolution are great.

I bought this a little over a year ago and wanted to give it a full year to give an honest review after truly using it. Whomever designed this laptop didn't plan on owning it. It doesn't have an ethernet port or a DVD burner/player so you have to buy and plug those peripherals in every time you need them. Taking up your only 2 USB ports. The USB ports are lose and do not hold anything tightly enough that they don't constantly disconnect if they are even slightly jostled. So if you are trying to download or transfer something you have to lay down your laptop and the device and make sure nothing touches it until it's done. Every single time I'm typing anything, the mouse bounces all over the page and starts typing wherever it lands. I have to then cut wherever has been typed, and paste it back where I was originally typing. The The power button in on the front left, exactly where one grabs their laptop to pick it up so it's constantly getting hit and turned off. The volume button is literally 4 millimeters from the power button so when you try to turn the volume up/down the power gets turned off constantly. Everything I've mentioned was like this out of the box. This isn't out of wear and tear. I'm VERY careful with my things and no-one touches my things but me. The one pro I will say is that it starts up fast, but it is loaded with bloatwear that I had to delete. I did try to take it back to Bestbuy but the clerk said no. So I'm stuck with this until it dies or I sell it.

Really nice laptop, easy to carry it and good to use it as a tablet.

I contacted ASUS and since my warranty was up they would not help at all. It only lasted 14 months before it died.
