Close to a 5 but...

This one like the other two has a terrible touch mouse pad. It is difficult to use correctly and we always have to turn-off Asus features. Like two or three finger touching. and the left click part is always too far from the right hand. Else everything about the laptop is quality and good.

I absolutely loved that system. As a matter of fact the last time I took it in for a tune up, the geek squad told me, after this we are not going to be able to do anything else to your computer . I cried all the way home . This will definitely be a new adventure and I've always been adventurous!!

We always wait to speak to her because she is so knowledgeable, trustworthy and down to earth with her recommendations. Won't use anyone else. There is no "hard sell"; if we need to go to a lower priced item - there is no disdain. It truly feels like she is looking out for our best interests and because of that, we trust her judgement and advice.

Fast machine if you like Windows 8

I didn't need a touchscreen, and I wonder how much durability that will have. I really wish that there was an easy way included with the machine to make it look and act like a Win7 machine. Now that I have had some time to play with it, I like Win8 even less.

ok laptop

Geek Squad has tried to troubleshoot via internet, but to no avail. I must bring it to the store, which is 200 miles away :( Very slow response, SLOW to start up. Frustrating. Based on past history with my old ASUS, I would still recommend this.
