Easier set up than a netgear router. Not that either are difficult. This one was just a but faster somehow even with Netgears' app. Everythi g went seamlessly and I'm not having any problems like I was with the netgear routers.

We replaced a netgear router with this one. Setup is simple and this is so much faster and has a better coverage in and outside of the house

I needed a router that would span our family farm. This one does the trick! I even put an extra extender in the barn and my daughter can use my wifi from her house about 300 yards away.

I've been very pleased with this router. The webpage-based interface directly supports running your whole house through a VPN if you want. There are many handy features that are straightforward to use. There is also an enhanced firmware you can flash the router with that allows even more features. ASUS-Merlin. Pretty active forums for this as it fills a need many people wanted. The router speeds are very good, covers my whole house easily. There is a phone app you can use too. Overall I'm very happy with this router.

This router has great speed and has an easy set up. This was my first time setting up a router and took little time and hassle to set up.

I have Time Warner Cable internet that came with their modem/wireless router. It is okay, but when we have an iphone, iPad, computer and XBox ONE all going... I doesn't keep up. I set the Time Warner wireless to use the modem only and plugged this Asus into port 1. We have no more dropping or freezing connections. The range is a solid 100 feet further out into the yard as well. I read many times that you should disable the "stock" wireless broadcasting on your provider's modem before adding an aftermarket wireless router. Pretty happy.

Very easy to set up--will see how the AI works in keeping the bad stuff out of network. Nice Remove App via cell phone also...

I needed a router with better range than the one I had. I was looking at the nighthawk but it didn't fit in the space I had. This one did for about the same price. It's range is about 50% father than the one it replaces. We needed that. The firmware is pretty standard but a decent interface. I use the built-in cloud software to access a USB drive from anywhere. I use the port forwarding a lot and it works fine too. A good router for me.

I have an old bungalo, meaning the walls are plaster and lath. My previous router couldn't send a signal through the walls well. Router is on one end of the house, and I get a good signal in the far end of the basement or outside on the opposite side of the house. It did cost more than my original one, but what a waste to spend money on something that didn't work. 2G and 5G signal for speed or reaching the tough spots (far end of basement).

I bought this router to try to extend the range of my wireless. So far it is doing everything I need it to do. Extremely easy setup as well.

Web access halfway down the block, so full coverage for family even when visiting the neighbors. Handles multiple systems, computers, phones and other smart devices, and printer. Even when the kids are home visiting ...no apparent slow downs or connectivity issues. EXCELLENT PRODUCT ...and works well, interfacing, with the cable modem. I am glad I did not purchase an All-in-one system, this in the long-run will provide for our needs the best ...and each device can be replaced or upgraded as needed. Did I say ? ...EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!!

I was going to cancel my current internet because of the inadequate speed. I decided to replace the router giving them one more chance. Wow what a difference. And it doesn't bog down when we have multiple devices connected!!

Paired with an Arris 6190 modem, my speeds and coverage have greatly improved. The app also helps with setup and monitoring.

Great coverage for a 3200 sq ft home. Easy setup. I would say this is more than sufficient to support devices for a family of four to six.

The router is simple to set up as far as routers go. For the tech savy it has many options for customization based on your usage/dynamics and for those who simply just need a long lasting router, it's simply plug and play. The range is pretty strong but keep in mind that a strong range can sometimes interfere with other wireless signals around the house, i.e. wireless controllers for game consoles. But overall, it's a great router and the customization features are quite detailed and worth learning how to use.

Great range and performance! I had several dead spots in my house. The ASUS router works great! A must have for today's connected family's!

Very easy to set up. It has very good range. It handles streaming 4k to one tv, and 2 phones and 2 tablets just fine!
