I've been using this router for a few month, works excellent, fast and setup was eaay. Strong signal everywhere in it 2 story house.

Easy setup, very good range & great features. Combined it with a new modem & unlocked the speed from comcast that I was paying for..

I needed a router that would deliver fast speeds and great coverage, this does it all. My previous was a N900 and this is much better.

Was using an old linksys with spectrum and barely getting 35mbps, now over 150mbps. Very easy to use and set up.

Bought this router along with the ARRIS cable modem to replace my Xfinity set and my speeds and coverage have increased.

I had a terrible router provided by my ISP before purchasing this one. The Asus was extremely easy to set up and played friendly right off the bat with my Xbox One, PS4, Wii U, and smart phone, all of which utilize its WiFi. The Xbox is now getting a strong 5ghz WiFi signal downstairs, whereas before, with the old ISP-provided router, its 2.4ghz signal was very weak. No trouble whatsoever with the ethernet connections to my PCs, either. Fantastic router. I would definitely purchase it again.

My original router is a Netgear N900 modem/router from the cable company. The Asus sits right next to the N900, It is located in an extreme corner of my 1800 sq ft single story home. My master bedroom is in the opposite corner of the home with a variety of walls in between. I went from buffering or no signal when streaming video on the old router to no problem. I looked at a lot of options and I felt this model was the best one for the price point. Ultimately I think this was a great value for me.

I've had this router since 2018. It is easy to manage and has worked flawlessly. Recently I had the need to extend the network coverage and added an AI Mesh node router to the network using a model RP-AC55. It was recognized right away. I've upgraded firmware on both units. The process is easily managed through the router interface. Highly recommend these products from ASUS.

This router has been the perfect choice for us, it is very stable and we never have issues anymore. We run 18-25 devices in our household at any given time and this router has provided flawless stability.

We were experiencing dead-spots and slow speeds for what we had paid for. Not any more as this router cured all the problems!

Internet suppliers router was buggy and slow, replaced it with this and it has been very speedy and stable. Was easy to set up and very easy to manage network with IOS app.

I installed this for an elderly friend who likes to take his new computer (his first attempt at being online, beginning in his 90s!) out on the porch to enjoy nature while surfing for historical and artistic information and staying in touch with family. Setup was simple, and he was up and running (and happily will be for many years, I hope) in no time.

It's stable and has good signal coverage. The performance was excellent when it was released a few years ago. It is still good in 2021, However the 40nm processor is not that power efficient. It runs hot even not under load. The processor temperature easily reaches 70C to 80C in summer. This really puts a question mark on the long term reliability.

Easy setup and has been very reliable so far - using in a church setting so guest mode is used a lot and so far no issues!

Great price, great product. Works wonderfully for those spots in the house that you don't get great signal.

We have had many routers over the years. Our most recent one started dropping signal enough times that we decided it needed replacing. I researched and found that Asus was making the best for this year. I found this one and it had good ratings from people so I took a chance. It has been great so far. Reliable connection of a multitude of devices and was so easy to set up. Some of my previous routers were so hard to set up and very frustrating. A great buy so far....

Range is remarkable. Grant it, I live in a 1,300sq ft ranch home, but there is no drop in download speed through my home. I even bypassed the router and direct connected to my modem with no drop off in speed. Impressive. Configuration was a snap, management app is very intuitive after a few minutes finding our way around. The AiProtection feature using Trend Micro really blocks fishy sites prior to hitting any connected devices. I strongly recommend this WiFi Router.
