I bought this router to replace a 7 year old Apple router. I was worried this router would not be as easy to set up and control but those worries were quickly taken away. ASUS has hit a home run with this router. From the ease of set up to the app that lets you control security settings and speeds for different devices. The download/upload speeds just blow my old Apple router away. Just lightning fast! This router has been perfect.

It was easy to set up but my internet provider caused issues. Able to get it up and running in about an hour. Good speed if plugged straight into the router but much slower over wifi.

I was leary to buy the expensive router because I thought they were all the same and I always bought the cheaper ones. But this router is the best. I live in a town home in the walls and insulated for sound/fire and I run 2 smart TVs, two tablets, two laptops and like 4 Amazon sticks on TVs they all stream perfectly without ever buffering. this router is the greatest!!! I highly recommend it, it is worth the extra money. spend it you won't regret it!

A lot of options with this router and superior quality as one would expect with ASUS. Subnet mask is editable to support 510 devices on the network. Did exactly what I needed of it and I bought 2 more since I loved it so much. I won’t buy another router brand from here forward.

The interface is easy to use and read. Setting up is quick, and the extras and filters are amazing.

I was reluctant to buy the RT-AC1900P in the first place, but I know two people who are happy with theirs (except for the mechanical failure of the power button on one of them) so I did it. The device was installed easily and worked _very_ well for three months serving only wireless clients (no Ethernet clients, no USB-attached devices) until ten days ago when it began rebooting every two to about sixty minutes. The system log shows this behavior clearly as well as numerous jffs2 CRC errors. I opened a case with ASUS support--which has been slow and inefficient--and I'm hoping for an RMA, but my confidence in a quick resolution with a long-term positive outcome is not high. As well as the device worked when it did work, I'm not sure that I can bring myself to purchase another or to recommend that anyone else do so. For now, I've gone back to a Frontier-supplied ARRIS NVG468MQ that drops just the wireless interfaces a couple of times a day (which--though an improvement--is still painful because all of the clients are wireless).

Router has no trouble reaching both floors and far bedrooms in 2500 sq ft home. Very fast.

This router comes highly recommended. I've had the RT-N66U for years now and it's been acting crazy. So I got this as the main router and used the old one as a range extender.
