I like this router so far. Very easy to set up. getting good speed

This ASUS Wi-Fi Router is great for home and business use, it has very good range and multiple modes that can be used as needed. We simply needed a way to extend our WiFi signal so we used it in Access Point mode, we have it wired in but Extender mode also works just as good, it's been working 100% since day 1 and have had no issues.

My old equipment was hanging up and was out of date. My wife works from home and need something more reliable. A lot of my network issues went away after replacing the old equipment with this Asus router. Been very happy so far with the performance and features of the router. This is the first time I have purchase any Asus equipment and very happy with it.

Easy setup. Works great. Covers entire house. Has all needed features.

This is a solid 4-star router, and I hesitate giving it a 5-star rating because I've had some issues with the AI-Mesh functionality where my 2.5GHz network will drop for no reason. For anyone who just needs an uber-fast dual-band wifi router, you'll be hard pressed to find a better router at any price. I also own the predecessor to this model (AC-RT68U), which has been a solid router for me for the past couple of years. Take care to keep the firmware updated and you will not be disappointed.

The range of the router is fantastic. I get WiFi signal several houses away and a solid connection in every part of my 2000+ sq ft house.

Excellent product! was very easy to install right out of the box and boosted my signal all around the house and actually increased my download speed relative to what I'm supposed to get from Comcast. Don't use the equipment Comcast provides and pay them for renting the equipment, this works much better, it's a little pricey for a wireless router but well worth it!

I have owned several Linksys and then Linksys/Cisco routers, switches and hubs plus Netgear, D-Link and some other off brands. I own and have owned several ASUS Motherboards and branded ASUS Branded video cards as well. So, I figured since my last CIsco/Linksys Wireless Router decided to start resetting back to factory, I'd try this ASUS one. 4 gigabit ethernet ports, and fast 2.4 and 5 ghz wifi, plus lots of parental controls, many ways to do customization, plus ability to attach a usb 3.0 external hard drive as well as a usb 2.0 thumb drive or the like, making it so that you can setup a UPNP Media server, plus ability to access your storage from over the internet and in the cloud with ASUS giving you your own DDNS Name, how could anyone not wanna give it a try. I read other reviews of some having issues and others not, but figured since I am a Computer Systems Administrator for over 25+ Years, it'd be worth it. I have no complaints with this router at all. Love it's configuration, and it has an Android app I can use to do monitoring and some configuration if I need to. I recommend this router, especially if you aren't computer savvy, as it's very simple to configure with it's step by step guide when you plug it in. You won't even need the manual.
