Liked it so much I bought another one

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A lightning strike near my house took out my first ASUS which had worked flawlessly for several years. Since it had great range from one end of my 3000 sq ft ranch house to the other I bought this same router again. I highly recommend this router if you need coverage throughout your house.

Easy setup, good performance

I turned my cable modem into a bridge and purchased this Asus router. The Asus is a big step up from previous routers I have used. The interface is much easier to use. I was also wanting to implement some parental controls and the Asus had just what I needed. I can control the times devices have internet access so now no arguments about screentime. The performance seems good.

Good consistent Wi-Fi signal

Trouble Free Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought the Asus router to replace a 2 year old Netgear Nighthawk wich was failing. It was $50 less. Installed almost instantly and has had no problems since. It also controls a Seagate Network drive which can be accessed from numerous devices within my house. I am most pleased with it effortless and reliable performance.

Cost less and better than the others.....

This Asus router beats ALL of them and the features in the firmware are great! It's also THE fastest router when viewing video from outside my local network. Don't make my mistakes.... Try this ASUS router.... you will be impressed.

Good router

I have had some issues with mobile devices and Xbox staying connected to this router that I didn't have with my previous Netgear router. Overall, I'm happy with it, but preferred the Netgear Genie software when compared to the ASUS software. One thing I do like about this router's software is that I can disconnect a device using the software which is great to block kids' internet access.
