This router is great. Before I switched the Asus - Wireless-ac Dual-band Wi-fi Router my wifi signal kept dropping while in my house which is about 2500 sq ft. I have not had any problems since switching this this router.

Great product. Easy to setup, easy to configure, great apps for my iPhone! I was a die hard Linksys fan and wanted to try something else. I was NOT disappointed at all!

I recently needed to replace my two year old Netgear R7000 that was starting to rollover. I tried two of the new Netgear R7000P, sorry but they both failed within 24 hrs. Therefore I decided it was time to try another brand seeing the Netgear quality problems in today's market. I decided to go with this ASUS unit, it has worked perfect out of the box box for the last month. Here are the pros, setup took less than ten minutes to setup 30+ devices across both Wired, 2.4 and 5.8 wifi topology, Easy straight forward and logical software interface, no connection issue at all in a two story 2100 sf house,no dead zones, perfect. No Cons at this point I would buy again in a heartbeat. If any issues do surface I will update this review.

Updated my wireless router from an old Netgear. Simply can't believe the coverage. I can now watch Netflicks on my iPad in my garage, on my patio, and probably at my neighbor's house. Hummm, I'll have to try that.

This WiFi router was recommended by a best buy sales associate. I needed one that would provide service from an upstairs office to outside on the deck. It does that. I have never had an issue with poor quality due to distance. The only thing was the difficulty of installation. It took me 4 hours, and a call to India.

Awesome router. Very easy to configure, fast wifi connectivity, it's in use supporting up to 100+ users in a place of worship. No problems at all with it.

After some troubleshooting, I realized my previous router's wireless was beginning to fail. Connections were intermittent and slow, and there was a significant difference in speed tests between the wired and wireless connections. My luck with routers has not been good, and I am finding that I am having to replace them every 1.5 to 2 years. I decided on this one because of a good price, but also because the numerous features available on this router. I have a more complex network than the average home users, with IP reservations, port forwarding, etc. This router met all of my needs without having to change the way I keep my network. I also appreciate the VPN feature that it has. And the speeds throughout my house are finally consistent!

I upgraded to this router from an ASUS RT-N66, and I'm very glad I did! It has better range in the 2.4 and 5 Ghz bands, and a very user-friendly GUI control screen. Absolutely no problems with this router so far!

This router was a replacement for a 15 month old linksys eas-6900 router. The asus is very user friendly, has stronger signal, better user interface, and a better mobile app. I am very pleased with this router.

This router was not recommended by a salesman. He said it wouldn’t work in my two story house, but I have had no issues with signal strength anywhere . I’m glad I purchased this unit.

Purchased approximately 30 days ago and wanted to see how it worked before posting review. This router replaced a linksys 1900 and has performed superb throughout 2500 two story home.

I bought this product to improve my connectivity to my gaming systems and for better shared connection to me devices throughout the house. I’ve got two smart TVs, an Xbox, a PS4, two laptops, two google smart home devices and 3-5 phones connected at a time with no lag or noticeable bandwidth drop. Whereas I usually disconnect from online matches several times a night with the new router I have yet to disconnect in two weeks of use. The speed of my downloads is passable but doesn’t blow me away, however for the trade off of consistent and quality connection it’s barely noticeable. Love the device can only see myself getting rid of it to replace it with a more advanced model

I've been a Netgear fan for years now but recently decided to take a chance on a different brand router. The first thing that attracted me to this router was the fact that it's vertical. This is a great feature if you are space conscious. Aside from its footprint, the router has great range, as I now have better single strength in most areas of my home now. My favorite feature is the UI, really nice for parental controls as you can create access schedules by device and update settings such as denying Internet access to any device simply by using the Asus mobile app. Other great features include controlling bandwidth by device - the list goes on here. If you are looking for a powerful, yet easy to use router then this is a good choice.

Was in need of an upgrade in a router. Have always used Lynksys and the young man who helped gave very good information on the various routers. With his suggestion bought the Asus and have been super satisfied.

great router if you're a gamer, or into streaming your favorite shows or movies. works even better with a high bandwidth internet. would recommend getting a modem separate as well as the router.
