Great router for under $200
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm a tech guy but I also do not have can not bring myself to purchase a $400 router that I currently do not have devices to take advantage of the all that extra speed. I purchase this 1900AC router with a good processor and memory for a under $200 and had a features I was looking for a VPN and firewall and app access. ASUS has always been a go to brand for me in the past and they have not let me down yet.

Great for setting up mesh network

The mesh extends the primary network with no switching to a new "extended" network ID. The only trick was to set up this router without the other one online to allow for the download of any firmware updates. Very easy with the ASUS router software.
