Asus makes the best routers consistently!

The signal is strong and can handle all the clients in a 1400 sq foot home easily. With the recent security issues exposed on some D-link routers, I would only trust Asus now.

Aged well with continuous firmware support

Knocked off a point for the lack of fq_codel & Cake QoS support. Also if you're using the default QoS offering then you'll be forced to use trend micro secuirty through the router.

Great for 2 story home

I upgraded to this router, which also includes a higher frequency band. My PS4 and Amazon Firestick are now on the higher band. Since the upgrade I have had no trouble streaming video or streaming games via PS Now. Very happy with the upgrade.
