Two-and-a-half years after I purchased this, it's still going strong and I've not no issues with it. I've used it with AT&T DSL as well as Xfinity cable, and it is compatible with both. Plays well with my Netgear modem.

Looks gr8t and performance is stellar. No drops or performance issues thus far.

Bought this to replace a nighthawk that kept losing the wifi. This is so much better. You have so many more options to configure than the Netgear. For someone who wants to be able to configure ever aspect of the router, ASUS has you covered.

Great router and very easy setup that was simple and straight forward.

Ive had Comcast for a year and a half using the Comcast dual Modem/Router. It would constantly drop off and need to be rebooted. I finally gave up and bought this Router and connected to it a comcast modem. Way better, my wifi connection speed has nearly doubled and I never lose signal.

It gives long range wi fi signal. I like the performance of this router.

Seems to do what it is supposed to do. Placed at one end of the house where the digital cable comes into the house and our usage it as the other end of the house (one iPad, one laptop, televisions (3) and 2 smartphones.

It gets the job done. Good coverage/reception throughout the house.

Product was easy to set up and great increase in wireless range .

I chose asus because I have a laptop computer by them and have loved it.....dependable once we had the hard drive changed to a solid state. The setup is challenging but I called their help number and a nice gentleman helped Me through it.

Powerful, versatile and full of nice features for the techie. Advanced setup items can be a little tricky for the uninitiated, but then, if you are buying this router, you probably either have some background in IT, or don't need the advanced settings. Either way, it's a win.

Great upgrade from my assus rt n66, it has a better coverage and throughput

ASUS is our go to router. This thing has excellent range and coverage, one unit covers our 3 story house with no issues. Nice feature is being able to plug your cellphone into this unit and use it on the road in the RV.

one month in and I've yet to restart it like my old airport extreme. aswesome

My AirPort Extreme died and I had to find something to replace it since Apple is no longer in the router business. I installed an older version of this router in my mom's house 5 years ago, and that router is still humming along. So that's why I decided to go with this ASUS for my home. The router works very well as a router. It handles all of my devices without much trouble, but when you try to access it via the app or browser, it likes to fight you. It said there is a firmware update while I was in the app. I tried installing it multiple times, but it would always fail. I tried on a computer in the browser and it game me the same issue. In order to update this router, I had to download the update manually from the ASUS site and feed it to the router manually. This is still an issue every time I need to update it. Very frustrating. I miss the Apple AirPort Express router. So much easier to use.

This is one of my favorite routers on the market! It works almost seamlessly for a set and forget system, while simultaneously allowing relatively easy setup of advanced features, such as vpn, remote management, bandwidth management, and automatic system reboots.
