This router would be fine in a home environment. I made the mistake of deploying it in a small business, and it could not keep up with the number of devices on the network. With only 5 devices connected, it worked fine, but this particular location had close to 40 computers and laptops connected, and this Asus router completely locked up with that many devices. I disabled all the services that I could, such as web tracking and history, but nothing worked until I removed the unit. Had originally purchased for cheap VPN tunnel, and I have deployed other Asus routers in other environments without any problems. All of them were smaller environments, however.

Purchased this as an upgrade to get better wifi in my detached garage. I have more than doubled my wifi connection compared to my 5year old router.

Excellent Router - have been using them for years. They changed the software for configuration and the new "Wizard" that it starts you out with has some bugs - but a firmware update may fix the problem.

We switched to Xfinity and decided to purchase internet equipment. This ASUS unit has worked great! It was recommended by a Best Buy salesperson.

I have multiple ASUS routers set up using AI mesh to provide connection to my whole house and it works amazingly well.

Love Asus products. Their routers are pretty cool. Best feature is the support of aftermarket firmware from Merlin. Us uber geeks love the flexibility.

Needed to get a new router after having one of 6+ years. The other one worked great but it was time to update for faster connection.

I haven't had a problem yet with my connection. I'm so happy i found something that works. I love it and all my devices are connected without fail.

This is a great router for the money. I highly recommend it. I especially like the option for two signals (dual-band).

Got this for my mom---with the AIProtection hoping that this helps with malware prevention--which most other home routers do not offer

This router runs all my devices easily. It has an option for turning off the blinking lights that most routers have which is useful at night.

Excellent features with great performance. Dual band allows you to put your gaming & movie streaming on one band and pc's, phones, etc on another.

I live in a 1800 sq ft home and I have no issues at all! I can connect anywhere in the house and it’s great for streaming

My internet connection was terrible & my son suggested I buy this router. Problem solved! Would recommend this brand over others

Have gone through 4 routers and also two provided by my broad band service. The Asus purchased is well worth the cost considering it's advantages.

Salesperson was very informative btwn this and another router I was looking at. Based on the size of the house and our needs, the ASUS fit the bill perfectly! No more dropped signal and installation/setup was a breeze.

It keeps kicking off one of my laptops constantly after a few minutes. I have no problems with this laptop anywhere else, so I am pretty sure it works just fine. I guess this router and my laptop just don't like each other....
