Best router available for the moeny. If you have Internet speeds of 50mbps or higher then this is a must. If you are still leasing a router from your isp stop and save some money with the future ready ac. I cannot express how much easier this has made streaming, gaming, dls, and everything else (all at once). Easy set up and great updates help make this the best router for a medium to large sized house.

Purchased this after research and reviews. Pros: Excellent whole house and yard coverage. Very easy set up. Interface is user friendly and keeping up with firmware updates isn't a problem. No problem with outside security cameras staying connected due to great signal strength. The list goes on. Con: Since I have owned this the router has dropped WiFi twice and the only way to get WiFi back was to do a total reset of the router. That is a total problem with this router because once WiFi goes and will not reconnect and a total reboot is needed you literally have to go reset ALL your devises to WiFi once again including all your Smart Devices as well. The only way to not have to do this is to probably reset router to whatever you named it before and use the same password so all your devises will pick it up once again.

Very consistent speeds. The options for this router are endless. Perfect for gaming.

My netgear r7000 wouldn't handle my internet speed, and netgear only offers 90 days of tech support after purchase. So I decided to give this Asus router a try and have had zero issues with it providing the speed plus more than I am paying for. Really easy to set up and they actually offer support for their products.

I used to have to use wifi extenders with my old Netgear router, and my phone or laptop was always trained up to the one with the weakest signal... but not anymore, this router has enough signal strength to cover my 2400 sqft house, down to the chicken coup, and all the way to the guest house. I also love this Asus GUI makes it easy to set up parental controls and manage devices.

This router has blazing speed and amazing range. Before I had to run two routers one as a bridge and still struggled to get signal through the whole house. Installed this router in the center of the house and can now go anywhere on my lot and still have signal. Full signal at the mailbox, garage, kids swing set and every square inch of the house. I would 100% purchase this router.

This router is excellent for using at home for streaming video services. It does not cap bandwidth speeds at all so you can maximize the speeds you purchase through your isp. The set up is very simple and it has more than just basic features to it so it can be used to customize traffic and secure your network.

This router is so amazing. It makes my internet fast. I would recently recommend it to anyone. You will never have a slow internet ever again.

Fresh out the box this device is better than the previous 3 nighthawks (2 of which i returned and 1 was a low end device that works good enough for a family member who does not need gigabyte) The gui is beautiful, im not signing up for no game boost crap, and fresh out the box its a simple setup.

My home was built in the 1960's and has different wall compositions. This router enabled wireless signal throughout the house with no degradation of signal.

I am really liking this router so far... covers my house with no problems. Using RMerlin firmware is just another great piece to this router.

Finally I get coverage throughout my entire house ! Just point the antennas in all directions where you need more Wi-Fi and there you go .

I’ve had this router For a couple days now and it’s been holding up pretty well specially the range compared to my spectrum one they gave me easy install and it tells you how many people are using it at any time great for streaming and gaming

Purchased to replace a smaller range extender that was getting overtaxed by work vpn, etc. Completely satisfied with this purchase. Excellent range, doesn't suck wind with 5-6 clients connected, and so far has been completely reliable with no required reboots yet. The management app is impressive, with excellent real time stats and flexible configuration options.

Out of several routers I tried, this one was the best. I have 1 gigabit internet and the WiFi speeds on this router came the closest to that (about 750 mbps). Range is pretty good and covers my entire house (3500 sq ft). Only giving four stars because it’s not as fast at 20-30 feet away from the router as other routers I tested

I have a strong signal through most of my old plaster walled house. Signal is great even with multiple wireless devices being used at the same time.

I’ve been using this router for about 5 months and am completely satisfied with it. It is able to keep up with all my devices running. I’m able to stream several 1080 feeds at once while using wired connections as well. The app is also convenient to monitor what devices are connected and what amount of bandwidth is being used.

It was easy to install. I get great signal all over the house even in the backyard at a great speed. The router does everything I expected and more.
