I haven’t had any problems at all since buying the router. It takes a while to connect at first but once it’s connected it works just as described. We have so many devices connected probably around 14-20 and all devices get a strong signal and we have 2 floors in a 2300 square foot home. Five stars from me!

This router is EXTREMELY fast downloading and uploading files through Internet and network. Handles multiple wifi devices with ease!!! A must get!!

This is a solid router. Easy to set up. Great packaging (Apple-ish). I chose this router because it has antennas that screw on. I have an outdoor WiFi antenna for security cameras across large distance. I chose to do external antenna vs mesh in hopes of stronger connections over longer distance.

This is another excellent product from ASUS that just works! Easy to setup and start using. It is larger than the other ones I have, so if space is an issue, make sure you check the dimensions. Performance is great! Highly recommended if you need a new router or WAP! I use mine as an access point.

great range, coverage, speed and ability to tweak to your needs

We were having trouble with our last wireless router, my husband kept getting kicked off and even I was having trouble just getting on the web. We have not had that problem since buying this router. Connections are fast and strong. Since this one is a dual band, we like the fact that if there are too many other people on one band, it switches you to the next band, which ensures you that you will be able to surf the net all you want!

This router does an excellent job sending wifi signal through entire house. Very strong signal on both 5ghz and 2.4 ghz channels.

I got two of these for setting up a mesh network; setup was easy and the range is very impressive. Speeds on a 500/100 connection are 450 throughotu the entire house, and next to the router it is 500 all day. I can even be in the backyard at the neighbor's house and have a good signal. Very nice router!

I live in a apartment with a TON of other wifi networks. I had a Apple Airport Extreme and the Airport did not output a strong enough signal to over power the other networks around me and I experienced poor game streaming with my Nvidia Shield TV. This ASUS router fixed the issue. It is great! It has a easy IOS app to monitor connections too.

Fast, lots of features, good range and easy to setup.

We bought this router to replace a 10-year-old Linksys router. Right out of the box, our speeds were much faster. Our old router wasn't able to keep up with the 9-10 devices connected to it. Unfortunately, this router has some problems. The main connection kept dropping devices. The WiFi printer we connected to it would work for a few hours, and then no one could access it until we reset the router. We contacted ASUS, but four weeks later we still haven't received a response. Looking online, we found someone who wrote that if you make a guest account, and attach all your devices to it, the problems go away. We made a guest account, connected to it, and since then all the problems went away. It's just annoying that we had to use a workaround to get the performance we read about when researching routers.

I love ASUS products and their ease of use & robust APPs. Upgraded from my 1200AC model and very happy with choice... plus check this out, I can still use my older 1200 as a mesh router attached to this one as my primary. OMG I didn't have to buy more mesh nodes!!! Thank you ASUS~!

Easy and fast set up I had no problem connecting all of my devices. It has been working great since the day I set it up.

Performance, stability and settings/options are excellent. I like that it doesn't force you to use some of their online options, and are off by default. Easy to set up (be prepared for lots of options) but for anyone using for home or small office, this is the way to go.

Great router has not dropped any signal strength and can use it throughout the whole house. Looked online at many other routers but this one boasts about range and with the dual band it keeps a constant signal. As long as you have higher mbps for service you should be happy with the range this will carry out the wifi sigbal out to.

Interface simple and straight forward. You will not be dissapointed on the performance . only nevative the antennas can come loose.
