Really great router. Provides Wireless 6 and has great speed and easy to setup and configure.

I bought this to replace my net gear nighthawk. It is definitely superior to the netgear in reliability and speed. Would definitely recommmend it to anyone.

Fairly easy to setup router with a ton of features. I paired this with my Arris modem. No major issiues. The version of firmware that shipped needed updating. The update through the interface failed as nd had to put the router in rescue mode and update with firmware restore utility, but finally got it to update. The only other difficulty i had was that you cannot hide the SSID of the guest network through the GUI, but you can telnet ok nto the router and issue an nvram command to hide it. Othereise I'm verry happy with the purchase.

After setting it up and configuring it, we noticed it was significantly more responsive than our previous Netgear. Has a ton of settings with a nice UI.

Router is easy to set up and fast. Only complicated set up is for using usb thumb drive for multiple computers on the wifi network.

Went with this router vs the Nighthawk based on reviews I read and have been happy with the choice. Powerful, good range, and easy to set up.

Seriously LOVE this router! Fast for the gamers in our house and wide coverage... from one end of our home to the other, which we did not have before.

Put this in the house to extend the range and it went further than my last one and seems to hold the speeds well

I have been using Apple AirPort Extremes for over 10 years. Different versions. Unfortunately, Apple is not making new routers anymore. I did many many research among nighthawks x10, x6s, and several ASUS routers. This is the best router. Web interface is better than netgears. You can spend more money on x10 (quad band) or some other tri-band routers. But trust me. My 2 stories 3000 sq ft home love this router.

This router is very fast and it just works. I never have to think about it. Very consistent reliable speeds and great range.

Great router, fast, easy to setup, loaded with features. Price was reasonable when on sale. Speed went from 40mb to 215mb wireless.

I had to replace my 1 yr old nighthawk 8000 because I upgraded to Att fiber and the nighthawk could only get 500 Mbps up and down using it own internal speedtest. While the Asus does not have a Internal speedtest I was able to run speed test on a macbook pro and get 700 down and 800 up. Of course you will never see these speeds unless your sitting next to the router but again I just wanted to verify it was faster than the nighthawk. I've been using this router for a month now with no issues. I average 22 to 26 devices connected at any given time. I work from home and use VPN all the time and have never seen any latency issues even with 2 to 3 users (wife and teens lol) streaming all the time. The security scanner has been a eye opener. It has intercepted 35 instances of dangerous websites including a few instances of web pages with embedded known ransomware javascript exploits. The live traffic monitoring allow you see current and historical usage and it breaks it down by mac address and types of usage (netflix,web, etc etc). I personally like how easy it is to block usage when you trying to get someone attention like a teenager who should be sleeping instead of playing fortnite I have not played with the USB port or the meshing of two units yet so I cannot comment on this personally but a coworker has two units meshed with no issues. I have to say I love this router and would recommend it to all my friends that need to use a lot of bandwidth.

This router really packs a punch. We’ve games and streamed from multiple devices at once with no issue. This thing is a beast.

No one ever wants to have to replace their wifi router. It seems like it always happens at the worst time. We are a nation dependent on our technology, and after purchasing the step up from this particular router for home, when it came time to do the same for the office, I knew exactly what model I wanted. The setup was easy, and we were down for maybe 5 minutes. I never expected to have a "computer" company like ASUS be a replacement for my other brand that I had used for years, but I am glad I made the switch.

Works Great in the home or apartment! Stretches to all the rooms in our home, and provides fast speeds.

I been involved with micro computers since 1969 starting with Intel 4004, then 8008, then the 8080. I just buy what I want or need. As far as this router. It's the best there is for the money. Especially using MalwareBites with it
