I really like this unit from Asus. Great coverage and I find it's very easy to set up, including a few slightly advanced features, that other router companies find ways to make difficult

I was already using Asus routers and familiar with the menus. Bought this one for the extended range. Range increased but not as dramatic as portrait. Too many functions but lack a good user manual to explain the why and how. Just as it is pictured, it is bulky. As much as I like other Asus products that I own, I almost returned this one for another make.

This thing is a beast. Internet is faster than what I’m paying for and the range I get is awesome.

I purchased the AC3100 router as a replacement for an older Asus router. My modem and router are in my basement (counter to all recommendations) due to the previous cable set up, pre-internet. I had to use a bridge previously to get descent WiFi on the second story of the house. With the new AC3100 I have much faster WiFi and great reception on all the floors of the house. Setup was straight forward and very fast. I have no complaints and recommend the router highly.

This thing has great range. Be warned that it is a rather large unit. Make sure you have the real estate for it.

I purchased this router to help my internet speeds while using a lot of devices. With my career I have a couple lap tops and phones I use constantly at home. When my wife and I are both using the wifi and my son decides to play Xbox, it got a little slow. With this router I have all business stuff of one band and all the fun stuff on another and do not have to worry about slowing down. I couldn't be happier.

I've been a pretty loyal Cisco/Linksys consumer for about two decades. I decided to take a chance on Asus after reading nothing but positive reviews about the router and holy cow have they converted me. The wireless speed on this is absolutely insane and the admin interface is both user friendly yet customizable for those who know a little more about networking than the average every day user. I couldn't recommend this more.

Bought the AC3100 to replace my 6 year old Asus RT-N66U. After doing a lot of research I settle back to Asus doe to the great reliability i had from the RT-N66U and the interface software. The management page is easy to use and set up is simple. The AC3100 definitely has the power I needed to support all the WiFi and computing equipment in our house. The router eliminated the dead spots in the house which is a two story home with about 2600 sqft.

I was looking for a higher end router to replace my Apple AirPort Extreme and I ending up purchasing this router. I have not had to restart the router since owning it. I was constantly restarting my apple router. I just got tired of doing it. I have 25 smart home devices connected on my network along with 2 gaming pc's, 5 smart phones, 2 regular pc's, 4 smart tvs, wireless printer, wireless camera system, and 3 Apple Tv's. The performance has been great so far.

We purchased this for use in our church, which is an older structure with several additions, consisting of 2 floors. We have excellent reception through out the building, even when heavily subscribed feeding video. I know the price may seem a little steep, but I believe it's a great value for the price. Because of some connectivity issues with our internet router, we had to reach out to their customer support, who quickly and helpfully resolved our issue.
