The unit worked great for about 2 years. Was fast and gave great coverage. Unfortunately it has a hardware defect in it that causes the channels to fail and default to 0. Eventually your unit will have to be repaired to fix this.

I read reviews and did quite a bit of research before buying this Router. I have had no issues with this router and I am very happy with it. If you want the best from the router upgrade the firmware using Merlin Software. I had a RT-AC66U Before This and Like Asus routers. Beware If you enable any Trend Micro AI Protection Features. It collects all your Web Browsing History. "Its Spying on You!"

Powerful router with great range for my two story house. Very easy to set up with nice security features.

Unit provides extremely good wireless range and signal quality. Currently only using as an AP to extend range in the house but the device seems very well built and the UI is easy to navigate.

I absolutely love this asus router, others stop working or leave you constantly unplugging or reseting. This router i plugged in 1st time over a year ago and hasnt sropped woeking or caused me to lose a conne tion in gaming or streaming a movie. Highly recommend this product or other peoducts by asus.

Installed easy. works flawlessly. It's also makes my internet use a much better experience.

I have told anyone who will listen they need this router. It is loaded with options, VPN etc. and has incredible coverage to boot. A little overwhelming of an interface if you aren't familiar with the ASUS line of routers, but that is really a result of being so feature rich. If you need only amazing coverage and don't need a bunch of options, it has a quick setup feature and has you up and running in a matter of minutes. Awesome router.

I tested other products for my high internet speed and definitely ASUS help me with all. The router is amazing, which have different administrative ways. ASUS the best!!!!

We own a restaurant with alot of material that butchers WiFi radio signal. Our router has to be place in the back office which sits behind the kitchen so there is 0 coverage of the dining area. We ran a cat6 cable to the dining room so that we could deploy an AP, but we still wanted some coverage from our back of house router. This router is the best in it's price point and the coverage is amazing even with alot of weird going on!

Reviewed all routers and this one best suited my needs... After purchase and easy setup, all wifi electronics were able to pick up at least 25 of 30 mps anywhere in house.

it's fast & reliable. it would have been better the router has better heat ventilation.

My college kid came back home from college during spring break and was having intermittent internet problems. I tried different diagnostic tools and even have my ISP rep for a home visit. It was determined I needed a better router. This router fix the problem. I know it is a little pricey but t is worth it if you need a strong, reliable signal.
