Easy to setup, great range. Replaced my cable company WiFi router with this one.

This is my second Asus router. Turns out the last one wasn't actually bad, I had an issue with my DSL router. Oh well, the new one has more security features.

Works well, except for the Settings. Seems to be very buggy. A little overpriced for not working perfectly

The process to set up was fast and simple. Coverage is great in my 3 story home.

My last router was going out due to gaming etc. I bought this router based on the power of it's reviews. QOS is nice and easy to configure. The game boost is only for games that support it so I've not tested it. Pretty sure that space could have been used for something else. The firmware update is easy and hasn't bricked anything yet. No need to download file to desktop then upload to router. Just hit a button. If you have a wireless printer there are some issues here. It doesn't always stay connected to router. Occasionally windows and linux will report that the printer is offline. This could even be a printer issue. Never happened with any other router I've had. The external usb drive sharing is fine but not great. No tech issues but the speed is just so so. Wireless works well in all bands. No issues here. The interface is a little too much for my liking. But it's clean and does what it's supposed to. The connected client list doesn't always show everything as it should. High point - you can rename devices that are connected to something other than the manufacturer string. It has logs, traffic analysis, cloud back up, parental controls etc. This all seems to work very well. There's nothing wrong or bad with this router, just nothing "special". If that's the only complaint then it's a solid deal.

Good router if you have a smaller home, and not much traffic. For a larger home and if you have more than 3-4 people using WiFi, upgrade to a stronger router.

Did a lot of research and determined this ASUS AC3100 was the best router and a worthwhile investment. Easy to install and connect with the modem I currently have. Only down side is where I personally placed the router, but will be moving it shortly to utilize it capabilities a little better. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a solid router.

Easy to hook up . Works in every room in the house . No problem streaming movies

First, I am a heavy networking user with about 30 active devices in my home. I originally purchased the Netgear Nighthawk X4S which would randomly lock up the wired ports and require a reboot at least once a day. Then upgraded to the Asus router. The Asus router was not only more stable, but far more feature rich without sacrificing a user friendly UI. The Asus router made the Netgear seem like a kids toy.

This thing is FAST. Easy to setup and have lots of features.

I had two Net Gear Nighthawk Routers in 1 1/2 time both had problems. I had the Geek Squad extended warranty on the last after it had problems took it back Best Buy. One of the associates recommend the ASUS has high quality durable router. Set up real easy, no problems. Would recommend it as of today.

Really enjoy that the fact that you can control all the devices that are connected to this router, separately. Gives me great comfort knowing that the kids will go to sleep on time during school because I turned their devices off and they can't connect and stay all night. I also enjoy that there is no signal problem, where ever I'm at in or outside of the house, especially since we live in a two-story house.

Netgear was no longer working well. Replaced it with AC3100 with great results. Covers the whole house from basement to the 4th floor office.
