Honestly I didn't expect too much. I am more of an apple person as I used to carry an AirPort Extreme. I saw I needed more features and it is way beyond what I expected.

Definitely has an extended range. Easy set up. And the app is straight forward too

Easy to set up right out of the box! Signal covers all around my 4000 sq ft house.

This is my second one of these. The first one, the 5g portion went out within a month so I returned it. I did read reviews of others who had this same issue (there is no fix, it just has to be replaced). The second one, I’ve had for several months and haven’t had issues with. Works well. Setup was easy.

I have always been an avid user of NetGear, but needed to know what devices were using available bandwidth. This router router not only provides a complete reading of each device and it's bandwidth usage; it also allows you to control that usage by each device. It's very easy to setup to boot, has a good intuitive user interface, has a good iPhone app, and iif all that wasn't enough t's fast too.

I stream video and music a lot (Netflix, HBO, Starz, ESPN, Tidal and lots more), plus my wife and two teenage kids constantly connecting. We have more than 15 devices connecting on line. Our internet service from Time Warner is very good with speed about 230. This router can handle them all at the same time with max. speed for devices anywhere in my house. This is the best router in the market now.

Using this as a second wifi access point using AiMesh. Handling 20+ devices and wifi is working well. Wired connection to the base router. Had to update the firmware and reconnect with wired to get a stable connection. AiMesh was the selling point, but has great features as a standalone router.

Don't have any complaints, it does exactly what it's supposed to. Had a Asus ac1900 for a long time and it finally died. So I tried few other brands and was really disappointed in performance and random issues. So in the end, got this Asus router and it just works, no issues, no problems. Another great job by asus.

I won't buy any other brand and I won't go any lower on quality. If you're paying under $200, you're typically buying garbage. Best router I've owned.

An excellent router with superior speed and wide range for multiple devices

Between the 5ghz, 2.4 and guest wifi networks I normally have 18 - 20 devices connected. I'll still see DL speeds of 85+MB/s (680mbps) consistently on my hardwired computer. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if my storage drive is the bottleneck. Easy to setup and use, tons of customization options as well as file sharing with an attached USB drive. Great router.

Bought this router because the house we are renting doesn't have a wired Ethernet connection where I wanted to put my desk. This router makes up for it. It's fast and stable. I'm not giving 5 stars because I'm having periodic, intermittent loss of WAN connection but this is likely because of my FIOS connection. My previous router was also bgh ASUS and was rock solid.

Works fine with Spectrum cable. Haven’t used to it’s full potential yet, but all seems fine thus far.

This router is exactly what I needed for my house. I have desd spots all over and decided a mesh network was what I needed. I bought this router and a couple of the smaller ones to set up around the house. The ai Mesh system is easy to set up through their automated tool and works great. Coverage around my house has vastly improved.

This was a replacement router for one killed by a power surge. The set up was somewhat difficult and a tech eventually had to come to my house. However.... once it was set up it turned out to be much more powerful than my previous router and eliminated a couple of dead spots in my two story house. I recommend this router but set up can be challenging.

My neighbor recommended this router because of how strong the signal is. I live in a old house, thick walls, this new system has no issue with signal! I can even go outside and it doesn’t drop the signal. I was paying a cable company for their whole house router per month. What a joke. Glad I bought this!
