Easy to install and setup. I have full house coverage, 4000 plus sq. ft. No more dead zones.

Decent router that can handle lots of smart devices. There are better ones out there, but for a lot more. This handles about 30 smart devices with no issues. Great speeds, very stable throughput.

This router has worked awesomely since I first purchased it! No problems with it to date.

Brought this to replace Netgear R8000 which turned out to be a piece of garbage. Netgear failed after 3 months. Asus is running Blink wireless cams, Ring doorbell and streaming devices with no buffering. Highly recommend.

hello, spend a bit more than normal for the asus router and was surprised at the lagg when streaming/gaming. maybe will work for others with a different internet company but didn’t work well with optimum. returned the asus and trying the nighthawk x6 now

A solid device that provides excellent wifi coverage throughout the house. Easy to install and setup.

I guess I could have got a cheapie, but the sales guy talked me into this one, said it was the one he had and he loves it. I believed him, and I must say, I feel the same way. Never gives me a problem, I have no issues, ever. Easy to set up. All good.

i've read of this in a consumer review and i looked for it asap if i can have it from Best Buy. Sure enough!! Real real fast... an internet company recommended ti too! was so glad i got it!! it's blazing fast!!!

Quick and easy installation. Everything went smoothly the first time. No issues since purchase(45 days). Reaches thru several thick (concrete) walls to reach a back bedroom--which required an extender with the cable co's unit.

It provides great coverage like my last Asus router, but my download speeds have increased since switching to AC. Our area is small, so we don't need to cover a lot of space. We are getting consistent speeds throughout without a mesh network. We are happy!

I had looked at a bunch of routers before selecting this one. Boy I'm glad I did. It's big, but it works really well. I love the software interface too. Only thing I wished you could do(and maybe you can I haven't really looked that close) is to manually select the IP address type.

Great product and easy to initially set up. However connecting my SONOS system was hard and required settings to be updated that were hard to figure out. Since then I have tried to log back in and the admin login no longer works so I hope nothing goes wrong!

So far so good. We cut the cord 2 yrs ago and as we expanded our streaming devices our old router bagan to lag. This one keeps pace easily in a 2300 sq foot home with no extender needed.

We had an issue with not getting a signal throughout the house. Now the house seems to be covered.

I love my new router. I use to have to connect two routers together to get the coverage I wanted. But this has no problem with that. The antennas could use some work. You have to work with them to get them to stay up in position. But otherwise no problems.

The Asus router AC3100 has been a good router so far for my family. My last router was totally not worth the money and kept dropping signals. This router has been flawless and has some really cool features available that make this a really good choice.

Great to be able to run so many devices and streaming on the 5G has made buffering a past tense!

This was an easy install. Immediately upgraded the firmware along with some other tweaks, and all has been well since. My wifi range has increased so much that the 2.4 band is seldom used. And the speed has increased, where the only limits seem to lie with my Service Plan.

Router has performed very well. Signal strength is strong enough to reach from 2nd floor to my basement. I have several devices connected at once without any issues. Multiple televisions, laptops, tablets, cell phones and other items are all connected without issue. Good buy.

This particular router is pretty good. If you compare it to the Asus models and features of this same router on their website the actual model has 8 ports and more features in the firmware. This one is a special water downed version made specifically for Best Buy.
