This router was extremely easy to install. I think it took longer to run the cables around my desk than to start it up. It replaced a 10+ years old unit, so maybe all routers are this easy to install now.

Perfect for everyday use. Wide bands, helps the internet to not go out.

We have primarily Apple products running on WiFi in our house. We switched from the latest model of the Apple Airport Extreme because it could not cover all parts of our house and using range extenders were a royal pain. So, this is our replacement and let me tell you that I am going to get rid of the AE and the range extenders. Coverage is fantastic - reaching those places that once had NO signal. The signal is strong and FAST when connected on AC via 5 GHz. Furthermore, Apple could learn a thing or two about the ease of set up from the AC3100. Asus nailed it on the ease of setup - I think it's actually easier than the AE. I was literally up and running in less than 2 minutes! I also love all the information (e.g. connected devices, usage etc.) that the Asus utility offers - unlike the AE which only offers the bare minimum information. Highly recommended!

I purchased this router primarily for my wireless cameras, which required connection to the 2.4 GHz channel. Cameras work great and the range is phenomenal. Router also provides 5GHz which we use for smart phones etc. I highly recommend this product.

This footer performs better than I thought it would. It was also recommended y an IT friend of me. The signal strength is very strong on the second floor of our house and it is fast enough to make streaming possible with no need to wait for buffering.

The Asus router you see here was super light and felt well made, even the box it came in was well made. It has amazing speeds in such a small package, lightweight and looks good. Highly recommend

Great device I had a lower ASUS router and was able to Mesh it into the new router to get more coverage in my house which has a lot of dead spots due to how it was built. Network is doing strong.

Replaced stock router from ISP. Decent range but expected better. Has ability to act as mesh which took care of the dead spots when I added another Asus router. Overall happy especially for the price point.

Upped my speed package from 75mbps to Xfinity's 300 Extreme. i needed a router that could deal with the big increase, since my old router wasn't up to it. This Asus works like a champ. i receive the 300+ speeds throughout my 1200 square foot apartment.

This is by far the best router we have ever purchased. It was easy to install and get it up and running. when you update the firmwear and it goes into error, you can undo the update and do it again. It real easy to fix. comes with its own disc to fix it.

I have always leaned towards netgear routers however after after it failing me for the millionth time I decided to try something different that had what I needed. The setup was very easy, went through it like a breeze.

asus router works great able to supply wifi throughout 3500 sq. home

I bought this router for my 1000 sqft apartment it worked like a boss! When I moved into my 3000 soft home it struggled in the corners/ back rooms. Its great for small homes or apartments.

Great router! Very easy to set up. Using it with Comcast cable modem with built in wireless router. Comcast has instructions for turning off wireless option on modem which is critical so multiple wireless signals don't confuse connecting devices.

This router is awesome, duel band is great, I connect 10 devices at the same time, still works flawlessly. Great for streaming movies etc.... Very happy with this router would recommend to anyone looking for great speeds for gaming and streaming.

I only game on my phone, but haven’t had any problems with this router. I run multiple devices at a time, including streaming movies. Never had a problem. Setup was super easy.

The Wifi router is pretty strong and fast but if you want to get the best performance out of it, don't keep the default settings. The manual does not even cover the "Smart Connect Rules" - check the internet for best practice.

Pros - Good coverage in a large home (3,200+ sq ft) - Fairly easy to configure - Has adaptive QoS Cons - The router froze and rebooted whan I changed a setting for the USB 3.0 storage port - The GUI interface is slow at times

This router has been awesome! Living in a larger house with 6 people and it keep up with every beat! Even use it for Wifi in our garage reaching about 60 yards from the router just fine!
