I bought this outer as an update to my existing ASUS Router as that one was older and seemed to be increasingly dropping the wireless connections. It is very stylish and installation was really easy. Biggest hassle was changing passcode on devices as I decided this was a good opportunity to update passwords, SSIDs, and so on. There was some odd behavior on the part of the router as wireless connections seem to drop randomly (no problem with wired connections) and more frequently that the router I had replaced. I gave it time as maybe there needed to be a period of stabilization or something to get it right (no such thing, I know, but in today's chaotic world I wanted to be a bit optimistic). The router continues to drop wireless connections and I really haven't figured out why. There are no transmitting devices anywhere near the unit. Besides the router and cell phones, the only transmitting things in my house are wireless devices (tablets, Firesticks, and the like). Not one to be easily discouraged, I am going to attempt to relocate the Router into the living room where most of the devices are used. This will be a challenge as it will essentially disable the device from being used as a wired router and the patch panel is located in the basement, immediately under the living room floor. With four antennas and higher power, I am not sure why the location would make a distance; literally 10 feed away through a single layer hardwood floor with no wiring, ductwork, or other betting between the two locations. If this does not work, I will likely return the router as defective and try a new one. Should that fail, I will have to research another highspeed router that takes advantage of my 1gig internet connection.

This is a great product. Have not last signal yet.

The setup of this Asus WiFi router was extremely easy. The GUI is very well laid out and informative. There are basic as well as more advanced options to satisfy a wide range of users. I highly recommend this item.

This router was very easy to setup. It has a nice app to control it from a phone, PC or other device. The range is great as I have it set up in an upstairs gameroom and it reaches the opposite side of the house.

only issue I had was I had to take it to my ISP in town( 30 mile round trip,) to have it set up for their systems. Other then that seems to work great and have had no other issues.

This router is probably one of the best things I have ever purchased at Best Buy. With so many devises drawing on our old router wi-fi was super slow. Now we have fast wi-fi no matter how many devises are running.

I thought better had good range On the 2.4 range, this device goes even farther. Live being able to mow my lawn and stream music without using up my data on my phone

I have so many devices connected to the wifi I have lost count! Each kid with phones, tablets , laptops, etc. I have had no range problems or signal problems since buying this router. Makes my life so much easier.

Ive had this router for about 1 year now and i have not had any lag issues or drop signals since, i would definitely recommend to anyone that has a gaming rig but isnt in the same room as the router.

This has solved our router problem with 10 devices on wifi.

We recently purchased a new house that was substantially bigger than our old house and our old equipment struggled getting the signal to everywhere. We picked this up just so every room in the house could receive a good wifi signal. Not only can every room, but the basement, and our entire yard can also get a SOLID wifi signal! We also have 5 kids so everything under the sun is connected to the wifi and none of them complain about not connecting! An added bonus to this router was our speeds literally TRIPLING! Our old equip would get us a download speed of roughly 28-30 mbps in a close proximity of the router, now every room in our home the speeds are always 85-100mbps! So to sum all of this up we are extremely happy with this purchase!!

I upgraded to this router from a net gear N600 WNDR3700. Every device in the house has better signal strength, better wireless speed and the connection is more reliable. Even the older devices!! Well worth the upgrade.

Much better speed for streaming, but signal distance is not as far as my netgear. Glad I bought it, planning on adding more to create a strong mesh network throughout the house.

Man this thing is great! Packed full of features that only routers twice the price come with. No signal loss at all, this thing picks up 2 bars at my neighbors house! It is hot! no wifi extender needed!

We have a 2455 sq ft home & needed a router that would cover the entire house. The AC3100 does the job extremely well. Very easy to set up and configure, as well. I highly recommend this router!

I have had very good results with the Asus AC3100 router.

Tried apple airport and it did not do the job to fill my house with full strength. I have a split entry and this unit provides wifi throughout the house. Excellent product to use for those of us lacking signal.
