Crazy what owning a router and not running on a modem does to your speeds, my speeds are running exactly what I'm paying for now.

I replaced a Linksys AC3200 router with this ASUS AC3100 router and what a huge improvement in overall performance! My wifi coverage was significantly improved, the distribution of resources to the various bands (2.4G vs 5G) was excellent. Even at the farthest points in my home the ASUS AC3100 performed very well. I saw very little drop in speed and when I utilized the Mesh capability by adding another ASUS AC1900 router I have supreme wifi capability throughout my 3000 sq foot home. I'm very happy with the ASUS AC3100 and the mobile app is good as well.

I love ASUS routers easy to set up and use also the app is easy to navigate as well. Solid router good price.

Used this to replace old router in my office. Previously I had needed repeaters to cover the whole office. After installing this unit, the repeaters are in a drawer.

The Asus WiFi router was bought for my office with 4 laptops, desktop computer, 2 prtinters and other devices. It has been able to handle everything with good speed.

So far, so good. The router had a little problem with overheating so I moved it to a place where it could cool better. Once I did that it seems to perform flawlessly. There is a lot of flexibility for configuration and no bottlenecking in even large data transfers. The wifi has a great reach and with the guest network you can let people log on without exposing sensitive data on your system. Asus builds a great router and this one is no exception!

Pretty good speed and lots of cool features. Had troubles after applying parental controls and had to reset, tho. Also having a hard time printing over wifi.

This router is excellent for gaming. Has all the features you could want. Tried the more expensive rogue series asus router. This was a better buy for the money.

Bought this to replace an existing one. Wanted one that could provide whole home VPN service. This fit the bill and was easy to configure.

This is a very good router and was fairly easy to install. I did have to call the manufacturer, but I was immediately helped.

I have seen better speeds then on my old Asus router that was only up to N. Glad I upgraded for our Netflix and ATV streaming. No issues with either of my Asus routers.

I get continual speeds and love the setup on the router. I would recommend this router if your wanting steady speeds with no hiccups.

Great Router for gaming. Super fast. Lots of features. Not good for hone automation. Communication issues with some ip controlled devices.

I was looking for a router with enough features & capabilities to cover a 3600 SF 2 story house. This model met/exceeded our expectations. Easy to set up & configure.

I am a gamer and was having quite a bit of lag with my 70 dollar router. This fixed everything. Still out of range for 5ghz, but I don't think it matters significantly.
