I recommend this device to get more range in your environment. I have used this in clients that have larger homes and this eliminates dead zones.

Just purchased and very impressed with ease of set up. This is one of the fastest wifi routers on the market! Replaced a NetGear Night Hawk R700 AC 1900. The Asus - AC3100 Wireless just blows it out the water on performance! You will not be disappointed with the performance. Definitely worth upgrading if you are still using an N router or older AC model. Just check out the reviews on the internet and you will see why Asus is the most respected company for Wifi routers.

I have had other wi-fi routers that were not as strong and boosters as well but this router is strong enough to give a excellent signal throughout the house.

Let me begin by saying I read all of the reviews for this unit prior to purchasing it. It came highly recommended and was well rated. I've been in tech for decades and the D-Link enterprise class wireless I had been using was starting to show it's age, so I purchased this as a replacement. Update the firmware on this unit immediately. Do this before you configure it, because there is a good possibility that you'll have to do a factory reset after it's completed and you'll have to re-enter your config afterwards. My first attempt to use this was met with a bit of disappointment, as the wireless connections seemed very slow and unstable compared to my previous wireless unit (it's configured as a wireless AP and not a router). It was configured to use both the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands together using the same credentials and such. I'm not certain if that contributed to the problems or not, but after the firmware update, I set it back up and segregated the two bands on their own SSID's. This appears to have helped, because my connections are a lot better and definitely more solid now. I can't speak for the router side of the device as I use a different solution, but I'm only giving it three stars based on my initial experiences. It's only been a couple of months so far, so I may increase the rating after it's been in service a while and proved itself in daily usage.

This router lives up to all expectations. It easy to set up and with sufficient power to cover a 3500 square foot.

The router was easy to set up, about 5 mins. After that, I have been making minor adjustments to its performance.

Handles streaming/gaming well, super easy to set up/manage. Range in larger homes with a lot of walls may make a Wi-Fi extender necessary.

This router has lived up to all positive notes that I read online before making this purchase. My only complaint is the price but you get what you pay for.

This is a very good router with long range. I have two of these and use them as a mesh system. Range is superb.

Fixed our internet issues at home. We always had outages and slow internet throughout the house. All fixed now.

It works very good with my system. The price is fair considering that. East to set up as well

About a year in and this router is still holding up strong! Very fast WiFi speeds and no major hiccups. Range is excellent! Couldn't be happier.
