Customer Ratings & Reviews

This is a very good router with long range. I have two of these and use them as a mesh system. Range is superb.

Fixed our internet issues at home. We always had outages and slow internet throughout the house. All fixed now.

So far so good!! Complete coverage throughout my house (2 Story). I have not had any issues with connection drops..It also maintains solid speeds!!

This gaming router is exactly what we need to keep our games preforming at top speeds!

I bought this to replace an older ASUS router (which i was very happy with, but died after 5 yrs). i have a fairly large house, and have great coverage, 4-5 bars everywhere. i really like ASUS user interface, very intuitive. This is a pricey router, but i bought it for range and features. the only reason i gave it 4 stars is i have an old wireless HP printer, and i would have to power cycle the printer to make a connection after it went into power mode (did not have to do with my old router).

get full house access through this powerful router, easy set up, just make sure you update the firmware as soon s you set it up to avoid problems

Works like a charm. Super strong reception and a ton of great features. Useful for anyone with a large home who needs reliable Lan connection.

Overall it is a good router with fast wireless speed, and number of useful features and functions. I am not a gamer, so my judgment is not including router’s gaming performance. I did not experience any buffering delays while watching YouTube & HD movies on internet. Simultaneous use of internet on several wireless devices does not seemingly affect internet connection speed. I like the option of being able to create 6 guest networks, and assign them with individual level of security encryption. The router user interface is simple to navigate and use. The cell phone app is handy to monitor speed of each individual wireless client connection. However, wireless range is not standing up to “large house” promise, and significant degradation of signal strength with distance is being observed. I cannot say that its wireless performance is better in comparison with less expensive Linksys EA7500 which I purchased and returned due to complete absence of very important for me guest network encryption. The router’s USB device connectivity is missing “Remote Virtual USB” capability, so I was not able to connect my older flatbed Canon scanner, and access it wirelessly. The overall functionality for an advanced user is a hit or miss; and which is very typical for mid-range consumer devices. While trying sort out my flatbed scanner connectivity issues, ASUS globally outsourced customer support has appeared as not knowledgeable and helpless.

This is a great router that gives you very high speeds. The user interface is easy to use but I wish I could get better range.

We can now have several people online at once without one of our devices slowing down or getting kicked off the internet all together

An IT tech recommend this router and it was a great investment. I know get full signal in and out of my concrete 2 story home. Good job Asus!

It works very good with my system. The price is fair considering that. East to set up as well

This router cover my home completely ( 1790 sqft ). I have 100Mbps internet and this router delivers this through WiFi and hard wire.

This router is FAST! My old Netgear Black Hawk was giving up the Ghost so I purchased this router. EXCELLENT!

This router easily surpasses any of the predecessors I have had. Easy setup, great range, and speed doesn’t drop off gas hard with range.

This router is easy to set up. Easy to use and operates every device in my house without any difficulty. By far the best router ive ever purchased!

The mother lode of wireless routers. Powers a lot of devices. can't tell the difference in speed hardwired vs wireless. Highly recommend.

We have over 10 things needing internet connection in our household & this not only will take care of all those but also is the new tech for the future. Has a 2 year warranty with it as well. I will never buy Net Gear again after knowing they only have a 90 day warranty & can "just give me a code" to fix my router right after that 90 days expires...Coincidence? Hardly!

Router sits at one end of the main floor and provides a strong signal throughout the second floor and basement. Very pleased with the performance.

Can't really give a fair review of the product. The 5g was dead on the unit right out of the box. The ac seemed to have a pretty strong signal and faster download speeds versus my old unit, but not much. Can't say that I can justify the $300 price tag for a router that is only slightly faster than my 2 year old unit that I originally paid $89 dollar for. Had I had the 5g working, I may have given a better review.
