I replaced a Airport Extreme Router with the AC3100 as the main router and am replacing 4 Airport express with other Asus routers in mesh mode as money is available. Install was straight forward and easy, coverage and speed is better than the extremes. It let me run the existing airports as network extensions with no problem. The network is covering 3500 sq/ft 2 story home, pool deck, and shop. The AC3100 is covering the ground floor at 2500 sq/ft with all interior walls concrete block. Very impressed!

The router works very well, it has a stong signal and I am able to get signal 100 feet away in my garage.

This is my second ASUS wireless router, an upgrade from a different model. The router is highly configurable and has excellent performance!

It was easy to set up and seems to be working great. I have set up three different wireless connections on it and they are all working fine.

Bought this router so as not to use a remote extension. Did not work at first using 5G. When I changed to 2.4G got the range.

Definitely the fastest router with the widest range I've ever had. This should last a while as well I'm hoping!

I am pleased with the performance of this router and have also used it as a A point with the amesh software and it is great !!

This is a excellent router. It handles all my entertainment items as well as streaming videos games and cell phones at the same time.

Beginner or expert Very easy to set up. Handles and every device we have with ease no trouble with band wet and support is great!

Very fast and easy setup. My last asus router lasted 6 years and this one has replaced it admirably.

Solid replacement for old router. Paired with blue cave router for wireless mesh...much improved over previous network

A good router with a fine array of features that is easier to set up and get running than anything Netgear has to offer.

I got this router because my router from the internet provider couldn't handle a lot of devices connected all at once. Having a smart home it requires a lot of devices to be connected. This router helped out a lot with taking the load off. It also boosted my wireless speeds when it came to my computer as I am not hard-wired yet. So far no issues with it. The gaming part of it though is for computers, not Xbox or PlayStation.

Great router, provides very fast internet if you also have said fast internet from your provider. Have had 0 issues with it.

Needed something to cover our entire house (2000 sq ft) and allow us to use multiple items at once...so glad we made this purchase!

This router runs as good as it looks. If you're home has 20+ wifi connected devices then this is the only router you need to purchase.

Router is a easy setup, logging into the websight to create the router name and password is straight forward.

Great coverage even with multiple floors - have on satellite, kind of struggles -- but in town with DSL streaming anywhere isGreat.

Bought this router when I got the Gigaone service for my home, love the ease of this router and the quality

Definitely happier with this router than the one I had through Comcast. Must faster & loses signal a whole lot less.
